Every moment is just empty. All the news I need to share like hurting my foot, my doctor might be putting me on bedrest in a few weeks because of my lumbar disc problems.. I hope I get a letter by this week

Dina0106 I understand, I'm feeling depressed myself. No letter or call from my fiance. Let's hang in there. Hopefully we will get letters soon and I hope you get better :)

Thanks... i know I will completely miserable at his graduation.

37 More days

Welcome :)

lol he should we lived together.. I am hoping I get one, and I pretty forgot to not mention being pregnant. I sent that in my last letter not literally. I was writing him from the address his mom gave me. I caught him up on everything that has been going on... I just said: "I thought everyone was looking at my stomach as fat (as I was presenting my speech) because I'm starting to show."

Idk how he's going to take that.

i'm already depressed and it's barely the first week he's gone:( and reading this makes me even more depressed, i didn't think it would take so long to receive the first letter:-/

It took three weeks for me to get my first letter, and the waiting does feel like torture, but on the bright side of it, at least you are aware that it may take that long, I had no clue of the time frame and was stressing myself out thinking my guy just didnt want me anymore.  The minute you get that first letter, the stress will ease up, and when letters start to come more frequently, they will become like your lifeline, and they will definitely be his! I'd suggest writing him letters in the meantime, while you are awaiting his. Tell him how much you miss him and such, date or number them at the top, then send them when you get his address, it will completely lift him up if he is having as hard of a time as you might be.  The waiting is the hardest part, at least it has been for me thusfar, but it serves a purpose, and the bond the two of you have will become 10x stronger and more beautiful in the long run. I sure as hell appreciate my guy more!

Yeah me either most of 09/18's got their letters last week.. so I don't know why all the ones who left on 09/20, none of us got their letters yet.

Sometimes it takes longer for a company to earn being able to send letters than it does others.

I know it's hard, and it sucks - for them and for us, but try to remind yourself that this, too, shall pass, and soon you'll be seeing them again! Also, try to remember, as hard as it is, this can be a blessing in disguise, because the Navy wants boot camp to be hard on the Sailor, they want to challenge them physically and mentally and emotionally, because that's what will make them the best Sailor they can be - and make that men or woman next to them the best they can be, too - which, combined, is what will keep them safe out in the fleet, so that they come home to you... The downside is, unfortunately, the only way to do this for the Sailors also does it to us... :-(

Just remember that he loves you and will write and call when he can!
I'm hoping he is alright..hating all these horror stories.
(((Hugs))) I know you're worried, and the pg hormones probably aren't helping either! But he is ok, there are a ton of people who go through boot camp every week - literally hundreds a week graduate - and VERY few of them have any problems - plus, the reason you hear the horror stories are because there was a problem, so their loved one heard from them / heard about it. If you aren't hearing from them in the early days of boot camp, then there's no problem.

I know it's hard. When our son went through, we were still stationed overseas, so our mail took even longer - everyone with his company, including my inlaws, all got their first letter over a week before us, - literally, we got our form letter after they were getting mail - and he had to mail his box to his grandparents because to us required a customs form. I know this is hard, but you'll hear from him soon! Just try to hang in there and focus on growing that baby :-)
Thank you for your kind words.. :)
