Welcome to the discussion group for division 901.
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Anybody hear anything yet from our SR's?
Well we are a little over a month now!!
I really have an empty nest now, my husband just got put on 7- 10's for a few weeks, out of town, so I am really really lonely now, lol. I knew this was gonna happen though, at least it wasn't all at them sametime.
so how is everybody doing this week?
I just can't take it anymore....no letter no phone calls....no nothing.....its been three weeks now and I am just so depressed. Although my SR's girl friend came over this weekend and I was sooo happy to see her it was like having a piece of my baby back. We sat around and talked about my son for hours it was nice. I also cleaned my SR's room from top to bottom. It is nice and clean for when he comes home. GSDGirl where is your son going after PiR?? and what will his job be?? I am sorry you are alone that has to be hard. I still have two at home 18 and 15 and then there are a plethora of kids here. Sat. night I 12 teens here carving pumpkins, sing, dancing, eating, and hanging out....that helps take my mind off the waiting a bit. I also work and that helps too. and lastly I go to the gym three times a week to trier myself out so I can get a good nights sleep. We have to be getting a letter this week we have to....
Yes, I received mail yesterday from Tyler my son!! He wrote two letters and his sister a letter. They got to mail on Sunday the 7th so you should be receiving any day!! I hope everyone gets their letters by today :)
I GOT 3 LETTERS!!! To say I am a happy momma, is an understatement!! Hold tight 901 moms (and gf) they are on there way!!!
IS there anything in general you can tell us about how the boys are doing?
He said they are doing good, mostly talked about himself and that he's getting a belly from eating good. He made some friends, and he gets in trouble for smiling,(he's always smiling). He's an Honor Guard, and he misses home.
And he said to keep writing him!! That he enjoys my letters!!! My son is a funny little man sometimes, and doesn't usually like my rambling, guess he's missing it now!!! Oh I am so happy, said he's getting a belly on him from eating so good!! Made some friends and he's an Honor Guard!!!
Happy Dance! I received letters from my SR today! He had his wisdom teeth removed, so the letters were interesting/ started a thought and shifted to another. Anyway, he said he has made some really close friends but is friends with most of the division. But that's my kid...he can make friends wherever he is. Looking forward to seeing everyone in a month!
So happy for all of you. I hope we get our letters real soon. Going to the mailbox is getting painful.
