Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

What happens at A School?
Hi everyone, this is actually my first post and I was just looking to get some information. I know this has probably already been discussed so I am sorry if I am bringing it up again. In my defense I have not gotten a letter or anything yet so I dont really have a lot of information to go off of. My boyfriend left for bootcamp on Oct 1 and his PIR is 11/30/2012. After that he is going to school right away and I was just wondering if anyone knew what happens when he gets there. I know that he is able to have his phone and computer and everything which is great, but what about leaving campus? Is he able to stay overnight on the weekends or does he have to be back at a certain time. Any information would be great!

LOL, that looks familiar.
Most of the A schools do have the same basic three liberty phases. Some make it easier to get phased up than others. And they can take it away from them all if one screws up, but that rarely happens.
Do you know what his rate (job) will be? Then someone could fill you in on where he's going to go to A school.

Keep in mind you are only a girlfriend and he will have to get special approval for you to be able to sign him out as the liberty buddy. Otherwise you will have tag alongs with you at all times, and if they end up seperted from him, he can get in trouble.

Yeah I figured there would be more rules since me and him aren't married/engaged. It is fine with me if we have tag alongs. Me and his family will be more than happy to have another sailor around haha. We wouldn't let them get separated if it meant they would get in trouble! Thank you for letting me know though, I was not aware of that.
