Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 017 & 018. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is on Ship 03 Div 017 also! I got a phone call on Saturday. It was like Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years all rolled into one!!

My daughter is in Div 017.  I received the form letter yesterday.  I received a phone call from her this afternoon, regarding info she needed for her Security Clearance.  She will be headed to Florida for "A School".

Hi there -  my girl Katie is Div 017 also, but no call yet.  I think she's probably going to Pensacola for A School.  We're near Orlando so hope that means we can visit a couple of times.  What is your daughter's name?

Hello all: will you be ordering the ribbons for PIR? I hear that a lot of families have these for PIR and I wouldn't want us to be left out. Your thoughts?

What are the ribbons?  I haven't seen this reference before.

Thanks so much for the friend request. i sent you some ifo back about the ribbons just let me know if you have any questions at all.

Hi everyone!! This is Theona, I am temporarily borrowing my mother in laws account. My husband is in Division 018! I've been patiently waiting by the mailbox and have yet to receive a letter from him! Has anyone received a hand written letter yet?

He let me know that he wouldn't be able to call for 3 weeks, but the third week will be this upcoming week, so I assume that I should receive a call sometime between Thursday and Sunday. My fingers are crossed because I don't know how much longer I can take not hearing anything from him!

We arrive in Chicago for Graduation on Tuesday and would love to make it to a meet and greet as well... I am looking forward to meeting all of the proud families and being able to communicate with different individuals who are going through exactly what I am going through!

It's been a tough couple of weeks... I am looking so forward to finally hearing SOMETHING from him. This lack of communication is definitely harder than anyone could have expected.

I hope you all are hanging in there! My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you! :)

Ship 03 Div 017 - - HOOYAH!

My girl is Ship 03 Div 017.  No call,  only the box and the form letter so far.  Dying for a phone call.  What Meet & Greet is everyone attending?  And can the whole family go?  My husband, son and my mom are flying up from Orlando on Tues morning.  Would like to do a Meet & Greet that we can all go to.

Hi KatiesMom, I'm Nicole's Mom.  May daughter is on Ship 03 Div 017 on the USS Hopper.  I am flying out of Portland Oregon arriving early afternoon (Nov 20).  I think I'm going to attend the one at the Ramada.  I feel lost already and I haven't even arrived!

I'm not a mom, but my fiance is in Division 017. Hoping for a letter this week. And maybe a phone call? Fingers crossed! :)

Not too many people here...

FYI:  we have 2 fb pages for this PIR date 11/21/12

Also... Ship 03 started making phone calls yesterday, if you have not talked to your SR yet... hold on, hopefully in the next couple of days...

Just 4 more weeks... :)
