Welcome to the discussion group for division 952.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

For the moms of the girls in this division (or fathers/boyfriends/brothers) my mom got a letter from my daughter today and she told her it was like having 40 sisters. She told her they got along good.

I have been telling our SR to tell fellow sailors get there family to go to this web site. Our group seems to be be a little dorment.

We have a facebook group that is a little more active, if anyone is interested in joining over there. Just hit me up in my inbox. I think I saw you on a FB page this morning; unless there is someone else from Granger in this division.

Got a letter today from my girl.  Sounds like things are going well.  She didn't date the letter, but it appears it was written this past Sun.  She did talk about the upcomming week as being "hell week".  From the sounds of it our SRs are going to be very busy.  I'm happy to say my SR has not really said anything negitive yet.  I'm hoping that is how she really feels about it and is not just not telling me.  We had some very long talks prior to her leaving about bootcamp and all the feelings that go along with it.  Of course my navy boot camp was 25 years ago and from what I can see on-line it was nothing like it is now.  But all in all I would think the feelings and emotions aren't going to change.  She has only got to call home once and I didn't get to talk with her.  Her Dad did.  I'm hoping for a call this weekend.  I also told here about this web site, so maybe more Moms will join

Thanks for the update Hillarysmom, I pray everyday for SR to give the courage, strength and the confidence to make it thru BC. Will be thinking about them during this next week and I hope all of us tell them to have there family to get on this site.

Is Div 952 performing at todays Graduation?

Nope...but next week we will be! =)

I had the understanding that they did 2 before their grad

This is true. We will be doing our own on 11/9; and also the 11/2 and 10/26 PIRs.

Does anyone have the scoop on how to be able to watch thes other PIRs ?  I would love to be able to at least try and see my soon to be sailor!!  It's my understanding too that 952 will do PIR on 10-26, 11-2, and then theirs on 11-9 which we can see live.

Just recieved letter and our SR are going thru H*ll Week which will be Sunday. He stated everything is good, they now have pink eye going around. Has two good friends, one from Paw/Paw and Ryan from Ca. Really sounded good and was ready to do the next week.

So, was H*ll week this week or coming next week?
