Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 003 & 004.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Ok, that is reassuring. Our son Matt just mentioned his ship was moving, giving his new mailing address, and nothing else! This of course left us with tons of questions, and lots of dread. What's happened, are the all ok, are they in trouble? This is stressful ! LOL

I know! They're not telling us much. James just said we're moving, keep writing! He didn't mention anything about them being in trouble. Maybe maintenance or something on the building?

My son is also on Ship 9. His letter this week said mentioned the change.

"My ship will be changing to Ship 14 - USS Arizona. JFK is closing. Spread the word. October 25th is the change".

My fiance is the yeoman i guess they have been doing good and got some flag? Thats why theyre moving im not to sure haha she is the division leader and said that t move went great. The food sucks haha but everything is fine. They just did the firefight yesterday and she said she was confident the group would do amazing!

HeatherT(09/003, Ahh Thats awesome.. Ive gotten better on sending the letters, daily now. I felt so bad. Good Luck to your son! & thats how I end my letters with my son.. STAY STRONG!!

Thank you!

hi everyone.. my daughter is ship 09 div 004.. o got 3 letters today. she is doing good. i was able to talk to her last week and she was losing her voice. I am sure it is completely gone now. She said her team has really come together and she's passed all her tests and inspections. She has been promoted to AROC and she said is 2nd in command now and when they marsh she calls cadence. Very proud of all she is accomplishing at 18 years old. She said she is painting the division flag and said no more secrets so i guess it's going to be revealed at graduation. I can't wait to seee everyone and especially my daughter. Proud mom!!!

Oh! I forgot to say, James said everyone passed their written test and that they got a scholar flag for PIR!! He's the Academic RPO so he was really excited about that :)

Thats awesome...

oooohhhhh I am so heart broken right now!! JT tried to call!!! About 2:31pm.. I have had my phone on louad for 2 weeks and today it was really getting on my bosses nerves because it kept going off with text.... lol anyway i put it on vibrate for just a few minutes and walked away soon after and forgot to pick it up... Needless to say I missed a call from JT at the 847 area code and a call from a CA area code 3 mins later. :(

I started crying right there and then and have barely been able to stop since. I am sooo upset and worried, becuase I would think if it was a good call he would have called his GF or dad also.

He has been sick and hurting in his side and they can not find anything wrong and had told him if it didn't get better they might send him home!! they called it "Ghost pain"

I got a new number and that is the one he called he didn't even try the old one which I told him would still be on also...  and my new one I just got set up yesterday and had not set the voicemail up. ooooooohhhhhh how my heart hurts!! That's all he talks about when he rights is how much he is looking forward to calling home and talking to us!!! :) for any reason.

ugh!!!!! I haven't been this upset in a really long while!!!!

Did anyone else get a call???? Really worried!

Heather, have you heard anything else. Did JT try to call again? So sorry you missed his call. Keep us updated and hope he is doing better with his pain.

Nothing yet... :( maybe later today!! I hope and pray. As soon as I do you know I'll put it on here!! Lol!! Thanks!!
