Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 371 & 372.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone, got another letter this week. Everything seems to be going good for our son. He said he heard I've been talking to some of the Navy moms. I am assuming NickCMom. Hope we can meet at PIR. Can't wait!! He will be going to San Antonio for about 14 weeks for Hospital Corpsman for his A School. Then they get to come home for about 2 weeks. Recruiter said he'll probably go to Camp Pendelton or Camp Lejeune after that. Hope it's Camp Lejeune since we live in East TN. Closer to home!! Can't wait till he can call again. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
That's exactly where my son will be stationed, for Corpsman. I got a letter from him today. He is doing good. He did mention though a lot of the others in his division are having a hard time. I am praying for all of them. Every time I hear another SR has had his wisdom teeth pulled. I thank the Lord my son had them all pulled when he got his braces at fourteen.
Yay!! Finally got to answer and talk to my SR :) It was a late call, so just comes to show that they can and WILL call at any time! :)
Hey Jenny0515, Camp Lejeune is actually in Jacksonville, North Carolina. But at least it's closer than Camp Pendelton which is in CA. Can't wait till we get the next call.
October 25, and still no call from my son:( He has been good about writing home though, one long letter each week - I stalk the mailbox every Thursday! He is in good spirits and was very happy he got a perfect score on his inspection and the hold got a perfect score as a group. Proud momma!!
your post makes my day. that's my son's ship and division so I know he would have also had a good day. He has been trying so hard to have the div get a perfect inspection.
From what my letter said today from my SR, his DIV got "flagged" on their inspections! Yay! Good for them :)
My son is also in Ship 12 Div 372. Prinn, Andrew. Glad to hear good news. Have you gotten the "I'm a Sailor" call? I saw a few posts on facebook that recruits that have PIR on 11/9 have called home. I haven't gotten that call, have you?
I was just wondering if any division got sponsored by an active duty unit?
Congratulations to every single person enduring all the sacrifices of the making of a U.S. NAVY Sailor.
Good morning my son is Buehlman, Dakota and he is in Div 371. He said he has made a lot of good friends in there. I would like to meet some of the other parents that has kids in this Div. My son is going to be a Missile Tech. Sub.
