Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 003 & 004.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi All!

My SR wrote in his letter last week that 003 was transitioning from the USS JFK (Ship-09) to Ship-14, USS Arizona on Oct. 24 - today.  He said that mail would be forwarded but also provided the address below to mail letters as of today, which I have.  he said the only "bummer" was that the USSJFK was the newest 'ship' but seemed optimistic for USSArizona;-)

Counting down the weeks to PIR - I can't wait to see my SR!!!!

SHIP-14, USS Arizona, DIV-003

RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND

3410 SAILOR DRIVE

GREAT LAKES, IL 60088-3510

The Arizona / Ship 14 has artifacts on their Quarterdeck from the real one in Pearl Harbor.

I know Craig has a photo somewhere...I lost it :-(. I'll ask!

It will be awesome for the SR's to have an opportunity to view the artifacts.  Thanks for that bit of 'trivia'.

My SR is also in Div 003!!!!

Is Ship 9 going under maintenance? Why are they moving?

He didn't say why but it didn't seem to be a big deal:-)

Did you get a letter today?  We tend to receive our SR's letters on Thursdays.  In the letter received today he mentions they got their 2nd Division flag and used an ! so that must be a very good thing.

AWESOME!!!! I will check my mail when i get home after work. My SR is the APO (Athletic Petty Officer) and he has been asked to be a section leader or Master at Arms. I am hoping to hear from him soon!!!

I want to send his contact to him, but I am not sure when to do that. Maybe early next week?????

Very nice.  003 seems to be a good Division!

Thats awesome!!

I always got along better with my brother flight than the girls in my flight. :)

Received 3 letters yesterday.. All is better although she says she get's along better with her Div Brothers than with some of the other girls. She says she looses her voice everyday because she has to scream every time they march. Div 004 received their 4th flag.. WTG team. so if anyone hears about  that would be my daughter (if your SR is in Div 004). She was the same way in HS being the 3rd in charge in JROTC. LOL Hope to hear from her soon. Can't wait to see her. Proud Mom of my SR!!!!

We are so close ya'll... Getting very excited..
