I have been feeling little flutters from my son, as I head into week 17 I'm hoping I feel more of him. Even though full kicks won't come in till I am about 5 months along. I did not really check the mail until later since I get my pay direct deposit and bills come on Mondays. I just went outside and got another letter, I'm shocked. This is the first time I got two letters in the same week even though he did mention in his last letter mail was getting better. He received both of my letters which is great, one had a tiny picture of me and my obvious pregnant belly, and one was just a face shot of us together. I sprayed my perfume in one letter, this year he knows I was obsessed with the Coco Chanel (madmoisele sp) fragrance, so I usually smell like that scent. I also kissed lipstick kisses on some of the pages, so he loved those. He was happy to smell something feminine since he apparently he struggling with being ("lonely").

Obviously my SR thinks like my doctor does, I think mentioned back pain in one of my letters and his immediate response to that was: "I hope you plan on quitting one of your jobs." lol (typical Danny, I'm glad I left bed rest out of my last letter.) He made friends and they even some work out thing that they do together to help each other out which is great. Glad he didn't have any dental problems that would've had him in bed for a couple of days.

I still miss him like crazy but 20 more days!

Has anyone else gotten letters?

And a question.. What exactly is Special Ops? Danny mentions this in his letter but Idk what that means, even though it sounds like I wouldn't like it.

How exciting - glad you're doing well! Sounds like you've been doing a lot for your SR through your letters - I sprayed my perfume on a special note, just for my fiance to smell, too. He requested it actually, haha.

Only twenty more days! Not even three weeks! You're almost there! So happy for you :)

I'm surprising myself actually because I would never do something so mushy like fragrance spraying and lipstick kisses. It made me excited to think about how he would react to it lol. Thank you, I honestly now feel like the time is going by fast and slow.

Wishing my friends who have SR's graduating the 2nd and the 9th, I'm wishing for their days to because it brings me closer to mine.

SO as soon as mine comes up so will yours Molly. :)

Navy seals is the navys special ops. I know my SR is not navy seals but due to something or the other had been training with them this entire time.

The seals? wth?   Thank you for telling me.

LOL not a problem. Do you know if he wanted to join them?

There are other special forces other than just seals :) Idk what all they are lol but I have know people that their sailors were doing special forces but not seals.

I'm really not that excited to know that he's going to do something like that.

My husband told me that there are a few other rates that are considered special forces, EOD, SWCC and Seal are a few of them. I think he said there are a few others. He just doesnt know for sure what all they are. The recruiter was trying to get my husband to go SEALs. I think he would have enjoyed it more because it would have been more up his alley and he would actually get to do his job but I am glad for myself he didnt do it. I think they know if they are doing special forces before they leave though.

Its like part of their contract if I remember correctly. I am sure later they can try to do them but Idk how it works.

Oh well in that case he's not doing Spec. Ops PERIOD

I just got my third letter, two days after my second! Sadly monday when the letter was written he hadnt gotten any of my letters, said people were getting stacks of 4-5 and he hadnt gotten any. thankfully when he called this week i told him i had sent around 20 letters so please just be patient. :) Maybe we'll be getting letters more often now.

Yeah I think so, lol I need more stamps now.
