Join the group, PIR 12/21/2012, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Know that Divisions 037 and 038 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.

My son is also, Ship 11 Div 038...he left on 10/24
Hi there. Where are you from?
HI there!! My SR also is Ship 11 Div. 038 . He also left on the 25th... We are from Tucson. I am so happy the letters came sooo fast!!!! Was great to see the swear in just miss him sooo much!!!! Can't wait for the graduation!!!! Where are you all from?? On the road today I saw someone with the" I am a Proud Parent of a Sailor" bumper sticker. I wanted to flag them down and see if there son was in BC too!! but I didn't...... LOL!!!!
I'm from Guilford Indiana. Just outside of Cincinnati. Miss my son terribly! Only child. Can't wait till I get a letter from him.
My son has almost been gone 2 weeks and wow - all I want to do is hear from him (like every other Mom on here, right?!!). That darn umbilical cord is still attached after 19 years!!! :-) I am soooo eager to hear from him, but MAN, I am so afraid I will start crying when he calls. When I got the ROBO CALL (it's what my sister named the call we all get the night the recruits reached GL -LOL!), well when I got the call - I knew exactly what to expect from NVM conversations and BOY OH BOY, it still was hard and the tears started up.... I just hope he could not hear it in my voice.... I don't want him to get upset knowing I am upset... AHH - need to have a test call... anyone want to call me and pretend they are my son??? hahahah!!!
