He left yesterday afternoon. He is my best friend and has been for a fourth of my life. I am taking it pretty well so far but I think it is because I have heard from him over the past day. He is now officially at boot camp. I am little confused about how everything works. He is doing AVFS. All I know is that he will be in Pensacola for A school after boot camp. I can't wait to get a letter for him! His mom said it will be about 3 weeks which is kind of disheartening but what can you do. I am very proud of him.

My boyfriend knows I am a big baby too. When I tear up I can see him shaking his head, smiling, and saying how adorable I am lol. Then I laugh and say stop it and the tears pretty much stop :) and now I'm missing him more. My days really are busy. I purposely procrastinate on stuff like my hw so that tomorrow will be consumed with homework and then I'll find something to do at night. I live in Vegas but have no urge to go out. All I would do is think of how much fun it would be with my man. What are you doing to keep busy?

Haaha my boyfriend is the same way! He is always like "Why are you crying baby? It is okay, I am here with you always." He would just hold me and tell me everything was okay. It is those kind of moments that keep me through the day. His last voicemail also makes me feel better. I have one of his sweaters which makes me quite happy. It is great to hear from all of you ladies! There is nothing better than having others who understand. It makes me feel less alone because now I have a place to vent.

:) I love this too. My boyfriend loved holding me too. He had this special way of calming me down in a way I can't explain. I had a way of doing that to him to when I saw him getting all wound up. Which is why I can't wait to write him. I told him those first days are the toughest when you are trying to adjust and don't have your loved ones to talk to. I'm sure our boys have made friends by now just like we are doing. :) I went through this process, but it is so much different being on this end.

Yeah, school is a distraction but like you said it's not good enough. I left all my hw for today so I would be engulfed in it today. So it's working out, watching my son, and homework. Hopefully my day flys by. Tomorrow I go to his mom's house for his sister's baby shower. I am happy I get to be with them, but I'm pretty sure tears will flow. We went there every Sunday to watch football and eat with his family. It will be my first time there without him. I gotta say waking up this morning and not seeing him was weird and sad. I loved having all day with him watching football and laughing all day. As much as it feels like I'll never see him again, I have to keep reminding myself that it's 8 more weeks! Blah.

Good thing is you will get to see his family! maybe that will make you feel closer to him. I had to get my wisdom teeth out yesterday and it sucks not having him here :( he always knows how to  make me feel better and it sucks not having his comfort here. I just cant wait to get his address to write letters. ive heard people getting their form lettings in like 4 days while others getting them in like 2 weeks to 3 weeks!

Aw that's no fun! Hope you are feeling better. Yeah, I am glad his family is here. My brother and his family moved to Seattle last month so if it weren't for them I'd be alone on the holidays! I hope it's not 2-3 weeks! My heart doesn't want to wait that long!

I know! But there is always that one that has to mess it up for everyone else! grrr.I told my boyfriend to kick butt though lol

That's awesome girl. I hope they are in the same division together. My boyfriend worked out a lot up until the day he left. I told my boyfriend to pick others up too, but it's just in his nature so he will. I'm so proud. I'm looking forward to seeing him in uniform! And I thought he couldn't get any sexier :) I coudln't look at your pics

I am very happy to have his family. It's what snapped me out of being so sad before he left. My son does keep me smiling and busy! I plan on taking a nap with him today so some hours will disappear lol. Anything to make the days go by fast! Blah, 8 more weeks.....

I'm missing him so much today. I used to always look forward to the weekends because we'd have so much fun together. Now it's just another day I want to end lol and it is almost over! How were you girls today?

yeah, they have me excited and crying all at the same time. I can't wait to look back on this day 8 weeks from now!!!!!!!! The "first day" video made the chiefs and petty officers look so nice. There is a lot more yelling going on lol, but our boys are alright :)

haha yeah I'm sure we'll hear about it
