All,

I'm going to post some PDF files I made about boot camp here on the Cryptology section.  The only reason that I'm posting them here is because I can add them as attachment here, unlike other area of N4M which don't allow attachments.

I know everyone here is way past boot camp here on the Cryptology section, but I needed a spot to place them when I try to help people understand boot camp in other sections.  So this is the only reason you're seeing them here....

I'm always curious if these helped you.....

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Craig,

My son is currently in Ship 9 USS Kennedy.  Can I purchase a coin?  I went on your other link but only saw the one for Triton.  It is beautiful!!   I would love to give him his ship at graduation on 9-7.  Thank you!!

The Kennedy is above (just below the Triton stuff).  I will make the text bigger so you can easily find it.

On the very last page of Chapter 4 I wrote that the company that sells them is on Ebay.  Just seach Ebay for "JFK" and "Ship 9".

The main thing is you learn from what you read.  You are guaranteed to learn at least one thing you didn't know.   Navy history is actually interesting if you find the weird stuff.

THANK YOU....my son leaves on September 18 from New Jersey...I am sad to see him leave but so excited for him ...the pdf's are GREAT!

hello Craig..

Ive followed you all the way through my SRs Bootcamp and now Im hungry for more. Your posts about boorcamp kept me alive and helped me understand and envision what my son could be going through. It was very helpful, as a mom you cant imagine what your SR is experiencing, and without the image, or at least a sense of what is really reality, it drives a mom nuts. Just to KNOW, it helps, so when you actually hear from you SR, then you can relate.

I am really super hungry to understand the EMT course in SA. my son is experiencing a VAST amount of information and not being able to narrow it down to really know what to study. Ive heard allot of terror stories about the third test...yikes.. Any good advice??? Do they have any very small group tutoring? seems resonable to ask.

Hi, I am glad to see 'for dummies' I have a question that I feel like everyone else knows but me. How do you know what the Boot Camp ship's name is? My daughter is Ship 3, I don't know the NAME. Is there a place to find out?

Thank you!

found it.

This link is awesome and very informative. It surely helps us parents know what some of the expectations are. Very helpful!! Thanks

My son arrived at Great Lakes last night!  This tutorial is super informative and useful and although he plans on taking it day by day, this provided him with a better idea on what to expect. I experienced Lady Marine Corps Boot Camp, so I couldn't even come close to telling him what to expect at Navy Boot Camp. Hopefully he will send a note with what ship he is in and his address. I am excited for him and hope he does well!  I would say OOH RAH, but that is MC.  What do they say in the Navy?

Thanks Craig!

Wow this really helps me to understand better what my SR is learning and going to be going through.

Thank you for posting all of this!  I did notice however, that the "Think, Other not so well known rules" page is printed quite small.  For us "older" folks... it's a bit difficult to read.  Is there anyway you could enlarge it?

Thank you for all this great information!
