Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I Live about 4 hours away so maybe that would be awesome!
Me too! I'll be glued to my phone Thanksgiving day! I even had it near me while I was in the shower lol, but I refuse to miss a call!
Your picture is very pretty, by the way!
Haha I'm the same way. Even when I shower lol. Thank you about the pic we just got married this past May. It was the most beautiful wedding! It will be really hard spending our first year apart but I'm hanging in there. When we can actually write back and forth it will be easier. I cant wait for that!
:-) I'm happy for you! It will be hard, but worth it. Our men are doing something great for our families. I am so proud. Yes, I can't wait to start writing back and forth. Writing is so intimate to me and I love the way my man thinks.
Your SR most likely would have been able to write for the first time yesterday since recruits can write only on Sundays at first and can't write until they are in their permanent ships, which is usually the 2nd Sunday after they are there, but could be the third Sunday for some if they had to remain in P-days waiting for others to fill the division (that didn't happen for your recruit).
Join the group, PIR 12/28/2012 TG 7 - 8 Divisions (039 - 044, 906 & 907), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Know that Divisions 043 and 044 (Diision numbers have 3 digits) are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.
