Looking for moms in the Triangle area...  I'm looking ahead, another navy mom and I sent goodie bags to the sailors this past week for the holiday project and thought it would be fun to get together with a couple of others to send them next year!

Hello JDE. I live in the Triangle area and would love to meet other Navy mom's in the area! PM me if you'd like. KD

We'll definitely try to meet up, sent a friend request but missed my chance to send a message with it :(

I haven't checked in with this group in a while. I am in the Statesville area. My son will be receiving a goodie bag from the holiday project. He is deployed and on the adopted ship. So, thanks to anyone who helped with the project. It's hard being away from loved ones at any time but especially during the holidays. I think it's awesome that everyone pitches in to help keep the spirits of our sailors up during these times. Would love to connect with any other Moms.

I had such a good time getting the goodie bags ready.   I'm glad to hear your son will be a recipient of someone's efforts :)  I will be thinking of you and your son during the holidays.

Hi,  I am right outside of the triangle area. I would like to meet up with other moms in the area.

HISMOM.

Hismom,

PM/inbox/friend me if you'd like.  Would like to also meet up with fellow Navy moms in the area!

K.D.

jde, I live in Graham, and if it is possible, I'd welcome the idea of joining forces next year for goodie bags.  We have a group of about 8-10 here that get together for lunches monthly.

Chris - you guys have a good size group, out there around Graham!  That would be fantastic if we can combine efforts next year for the holiday project :)

Hismom - my sister lives in your town.

If any of you would like to meet up, I would love to have a small group that can get together once in awhile - let me know.  I'm not sure the Triangle area is a hotbed for the Navy!  We've got some of the other branches represented pretty well....

Count me in for a meet up!!  We need to get some representation going in the Triangle area for the Navy!!

Hello to all!

We are in the Piedmont/Triad area (Lexington/Greensboro/Winston-Salem).  Any others out there?  I grew up in Raleigh and make trips home pretty frequently to see my Dad and my daughter who is at NCSU.  My son is still in GL waiting on next dive/EOD prep to start.  Has gotten P2 liberty and was supposed to get P3 this week.  Just thought I would  check in with the new group!

nswc80, and all--So many in the triangle!  there is a group meeting at IHOP March 30 1101 Lanada Rd, GSO, thinking it ended up at 1130--check out the NC Mom's discussion for more details!  We may end up taking the entire restaurant!

The latest on IHOP is 1100, March 30--hope to see y'all there
