Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Yeah-glad they finally are starting! We are heading down next week to spend thanksgiving with him- 14 hour drive but so worth it!

I have two sons in Class 1301! One is section 8 and the other is section 10. So glad they are now on the same timeline, they started bootcamp 5 weeks apart... Will sure miss them not being here for Thanksgiving, but they will be home for Xmas, so that helps!

That is awesome! That is wonderful that they have this experience to share together! They are very fortunate to have each other when dealing with all the stress that will be heading their way. That is so great they will be home with you for Christmas!

My son stated that graduation is tentatively scheduled for May 3. That will be a wonderful Mother's day gift. We are a 16 hour drive from Goose Creek. We went down in October, and we are now making plans to be there for Power School grad.

Hi sweetcaroliine- we are from michigan..just got back from charleston last night-we had a wonderful time with our sailor and am looking forward to him coming home for christmas. That is awesome about your son's upcoming wedding!

We are from Milwaukee,WI. That is exciting that you have Christmas, a wedding, and New Years! My sailor bought a truck while he was down there. I love driving on vacation. It is always nice to see other areas of the United States. Eventually, I would like to see all the states, but that's the ultimate bucket list.

Good afternoon, ladies. My sailor is also in 1301. He's in group 6.
I am fairly new to N4M. I joined when he went to RTC but was too overwhelmed to keep up. I had a group of moms in his division who had formed a FB group of support so I spent most of my time there. I have read all of the responses to this post so far. So I'm catching up. :-)
We drove to Great Lakes for PIR and to Goose Creek for NFAS graduation. It was definitely a long drive for us, too. We are in Texas. We are looking forward to going back for graduation in late spring.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies even better.
