While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I'm staying at the Quality Inn with my fiance's mother for PIR this Wednesday. It's three miles from the base, and I think we're paying around $79 a night. Hope this helps!

Navy Lodge is located less than a mile from the base, and is about $65/night. You don't need an id to stay there, just make sure you make the reservation under your SR's name. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint was that the shower head had no water pressure! Haha... You're gonna take a cab regardless of where you stay so it really doesn't matter too much with the distance. I would just look for the best price within the 2 mile radius. Make sure to use Sarge's shuttle service! They are awesome!!

I stayed at the Hampton for Thanksgiving and it was really nice and the breakfast was very good. There is free wifi so my boyfriend got to use my laptop. There is also a pretty nice lobby/lounge area with a huge tv that he watched sports on. As far as decent price, it was on the high end. It is about $100 a night, a little more with taxes and everything. Also it is close, I don't remember exactly how long it took to get to RTC but not long at all.
