Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 055 and 056.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My sons almost 22...jan. 6th is his birthday. I wonder if any of our boys know each other!?

I hope so......He told me he has made some good friends...or 'rackmates"  : )

Oh man! I just drove to our mailhouse to see if I got a letter, but mail person just got there. I totally forgot its Saturday so they start later. Ugh I'm so anxious! I'll wait an hour and try again...I'm in a gated community so we don't have mailboxes at our homes, have to drive 2.5 miles to the mailhouse....such a pain in the neck! But I'll be one happy mom when I see a letter from my boy! Talk to you ladies soon! Everyone have a GREAT day!

Hi Moms & others loved one's.....So glad this discussion has started!  IT wld be so neat to meet each other at graduation>>>: )

We have any football fans on here?  lol

Hi Cristy.....gotta love those Giants!!!!

Awesome! :) My younger son's FB team just won the PA Quarterfinals! :) Love football here too!
Really? Oh thats great! How old is your son?
YES...That is so much better than this! : )

Hi everyone, I got my first letter today! He sounded good. He said it was the same thing everyday but he seemed positive. He said he has met some nice people. We used to live in PA but moved to TX about 3 1/2 years ago. He said he definately is not liking the cold. We are going to drive up, still looking at which hotels to book. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, mine is much better now that I know he is doing good! For those of you who have not heard from your sailor, mine said it took him 3 days to write the short note that we got today. He said they don't have much time. I also didn't get the "I'm here call" so this is the first I have heard from him. He said some of them did not get time to make the call.

Wow meaghan....so happy that you got your letter and he's doing we'll! Thank god for mail, right?

good morning moms.....I have yet to get a letter from my son....Hopefully tomorrow....I have to make my flight as well..Been looking at Southwest...hopefully the flights will be a little cheaper after the holidays but not looking like it now....My son is also staying in the Great Lakes for A School...no clue what his job is yet....

I hawking....no letter for me either but two of his friends have received them. Ugh I'm so annoyed and my husbands trying to tell me that something's wrong with the mail. My sons not even close with these two girls that he wrote to so I'm just confused! Don't know if I should be mad, hurt, or just let it go....one part of me thinks my husbands correct but I don't know. My son and I are very close and he has to know how much I miss him as I've written to him every single day since he left on November 12th! I think to myself....I'm sure these girls haven't lost sleep over him and I'm sure they don't write him every day but that doesn't make my letter come any quicker. I'll let ya know when I get mine. I'm checking the post mark on mine compared to there's! Hahahahaha
