Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 055 and 056.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Dawn, we N4Moms veterans highly recommend Sarge's MeetandGreet.  He is retired military, provides transportation for A School students and Navy families up for PIR, and is very knowledgeable with the area (restaurants, sightseeing suggestions, etc) as well.  All of the MeetandGreets are family friendly so bring the kids!  They provide food, and Sarge pays for this out of his own pocket each week...but he does accept donations!  :-)  So consider going to his.  It is located about 4-5 miles from RTC, near Springhill Suites, Courtyard Inn, and Residence Inn (near WalMart shopping center). But everything in GL is relatively close so if you are staying at another hotel, no issues getting there.  His is at the Sundance Saloon.

Hi dawn, sorry haven't been on here in a few days! I'm not sure which meet n greet to go to! So confusing!!! I wanted to do Flanagans but hear that Sarges is the best! What are you thinking of doing?
It seems that everyone left this site! That's sad! Anyway , for those still on here....have a great Friday! My son gets his wisdom teeth pulled today. Poor kid, I'll be praying for him and the others getting theirs pulled!
Sorry DebbieF didn't know about this one lol. How are you this mornin ?
I'm good isabellamom. How are you? Hopefully I'll get a letter from my son, but maybe not. I've only received one envelope with 4 letters in it and then spoke to him once last Sunday...my daughter remembers him saying he can't write for another week, but I'm gonna check the mail anyway! Lol
DebbieF im hanging in there. I have only gotten one letter so far and two phone calls but im happy he is hanging in there too. Said his foot is little sore still but he's pretty tough for a skinny kid lol. Bobby says he try to get letters out but he says it cuts into sleep time and apparently they like that time off to do extra sleeping. Im gonna close for now just got done with pinning ceremony and imma hurting gonna rest cause i gotta get up early we have state testing tomorrow for our cna students. Good night and tell your son hello when you talk to him.
Well I'm pretty sad right now. I was at a football game last night and my son called home. :( I am no longer with his father and it was my new husband who answered the phone. He said my son said all is well. But of course I had to ask if he sounded disappointed I was not home and he said yes he did. :( Gah! Well no use in crying over spilt milk. And we lost the game. Anyone else get a call last night from DIV 056?

I missed the 1st call last Sunday, & cried so much!!

I just ssent u a message...

Oh hey Cristy I just noticed your comment, this page is hard to follow for me. Guess what??? Our sons are definitely friends! I saw you say Roll Tide and that means you are from Alabama??? My son told me his best friend is a guy name W***s from Alabama who is also going to Corpsman school! Is your son named W***s? Using asterisks in case that is your last name.

OMG!!!!!

CHECK YOUR MESSSAGES!

Just got it. :)

Hello All!

Has anyone heard how quickly the SRs bound for Goose Creek will be leaving after PIR?  Or insight?
