What determines if their departure date is moved up?  My son is scheduled to leave 12/11/12.  We have planned a farewell get together on 12/01 thinking that would be safe.  We are in south Ga but he will be leaving out of Jacksonville, Fl..

My son leaves 12/11 from San Antonio - very excited for him!

my son leaves from Raleigh 12/4 anyone else?

Yes from Raleigh. Mine on dec 12

My son leaves from Raleigh 12/13.

Mine is from Raleigh on dec 12. Maybe they will see each other there. Inbox me ill give you his name to share with yours :-)

I have sent you a friend request so we can exchange names. I'm super anxious about him leaving.  I don't know about your son, but mine isn't wanting to do anything as far as going through his room with me to help sort out his things.  It is a holy mess in his room.  I really don't mind doing all of that after he leaves (it will give me something to do)but I do need his input if he doesn't want everything trashed/donated to GoodWill.  I look forward to hearing from you!  Dec 11 & 12th are coming so quickly!!!

My son leaves 12/4 as well.  We are in IL...so not that far from GL!

My son leaves 12/5 and we're also in IL!!!

Oh really...what city?  Are you going to the swearing in?

Hi imomxfour, my son arrived at GL on 12/5 as well. I noticed you have a ship and division number. How did you get that information so quickly?  Thanks!!

Hi! To get it before the form letter arrives, call your son's recruiter and have them look it up - I got the info on Monday, and others got the info yesterday on Tuesday!! You'll (probably) be in the PIR group for 2/1, graduation date - they just formed it Monday night for all of us in that TG, so come join us over there!!

Oh and just be sure to double check the address you get from the recruiter, to the one you get on the form letter, before sending mail off - just in case they get it wrong or in case it changes for some reason.

I phoned the Recruiter 30 minutes ago and they still do no have any information in the computer about my Son and he arrived on 12/5.  I have joined the PIR02012013 Group and am hopeful that that is his PIR date, as there were a lot of recruits that arrived last week.
