Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 059 and 060.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you.  I didn't have a chance to ask my son what day he was on.

Hi.  My son is Ship 03 Div 059.  I got to talk to him today.  He is doing well.  Better than we expected.  How is everyone else doing?

I am great after getting to talk to my girl! When I talked to her, she said that their group was eligible for the adopt-a-sailor thing, and was going to send me info.... So, I don't know....she said you have to be over halfway through to be able to do it. I don't know if that was just an assumption on her part that they are eligible, or if she knows it for sure. I will definitely pass on anything I find out one way or another!

Hi, My grandson is also on the same ship and division, will you be attending the graduatiion ( I know, dumb question)

my husband called today! i was so happy to hear from him! he is missing me and our son but over all doing really well!

Has everyone figured out where  they're staying for the PIR?  I am having a heck of a time trying to decide!  We'll be driving, and might need a pet friendly place...

Usually motel 6is pet friendly. You'll have to call around

We're driving too, but I have to board my dog here at home.  He's too old to take that long of a car ride :)  Let me know if you find any good deals for hotels.  I've been looking and I guess I want to be as close to RTC as possible...

Yea I got a letter from my niece today. I was so excited to read it. She is doing good, I think she was most excited to find out that she had zero cavities (which is good for someone that has never been to a dentist) lol. Says she shines her boots way to often and that she is learning to shoot tomorrow (12/17). Was wondering if anyone knew what week/day that would be considered in BC.

Hoping myself or her boyfriend gets a call from her soon.

Thanks

Has anyone figured out where they're staying for PIR? Or which Meet & Greet would be best?   I was looking at Springhill Suites, we'll have my mom,my other daughter and my hubby so we need room!

So far I haven't decided on hotel or anything (I just worked it out to be able to attend). Now I gotta find out who the other 3 attendees are (hoping my husband can get outta work now) and see how we wanna get there and where to stay considering we are in Florida. I have been doing a lot of research this weekend tho so hopefully can narrow down some choices soon. I was also probably gonna attend Sarges Meet & Greet but I guess it will depend how far away my hotel is from him....

There are a group of hotels near where Sarge's Meet & Greet is... also I think the page for the M&G says he will provide transportation for certain hotels...
