Okay on the guest list it says only four people and only list people who are over the age of 3 . What I'm trying to figure out is if there is 4 adults and a baby will my baby be able to enter or do I need to eliminate an adult???? I'm confused!!!

You should be fine. The baby doesnt take up a spot as long as they are under three. Pretty much they are assuming the baby will be sitting on some one's lap.

I dont have a kid this is just what my friend was told that has a kid.

Is your baby older than 3 years old? If yes, it's not a baby but a preschooler and he/she needs to be on the list so that makes 3 Adults and 1 Preschooler. If no, then he/she does not need to be on the list so you just need 4 Adults.

Thanks so much because I was totally confused. Because I read that they were cracking down on the number of guess because of fire hazards.

I think they are just talking mostly about the extra guest that were sometimes allowed in. they used to like pack the place with any extra people that came on top of the four on the list. So thats probably what they are meaning. But yes over 3 you will need to bump an adult, under three no. The guidelines they put in the form letter are the best thing to go by in case they change things between graduations :)

Also, I suspect that part of the reason they lowered the age on when a child "counts" on the guest list from 12 to 3 is because there were some who were taking advantage a little bit. When we went to our son's PIR, there was a family that was there - 2 couples, one of them local (so, presumably, had friends in the area, and some of the kids were school aged...) who, between the 2 couples, had 5 children with them. They took up 2 entire rows of bleachers just for their group, while the kids kicked people (not an occasional tap on accident, outright nailed them), sprawled out flat so they could play cars, rough housed, and generally carried on... All were under 12, and all were "walking talking and potty trained" aged and up.....

It really wasn't cool - there were people who were standing with only 2 or 3 in their whole group (there was more than one group standing like that) because of this family. I don't imagine that was the first time this happened, either...
This way, you get 4 seats, period, but can hold the "uncounted" guests since they are under 3 yrs old, and every family of every Recruit gets a chance to have a seat and watch their loved one graduate - without causing a fire hazard.
