Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 065 and 066.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

065 is making calls!!!!!!

I just got off the phone with my SR(: I'm so happy right now! I hope everyone else will get calls!

me too! it was wonderful! omg-he said again RDC's are very tough!! He had a wisdom tooth pulled only one 4 days ago and he is still having pain-they gave him motrin 800mg. Slight releif--pain increases with exercise. He said the division did awesome on a written test and they earned a flag!!  It was a very quick call. but he quietly whispered christmas eve 3-5pm keep your cell close! :) Hope everyone gets their calls ! soooo happy!

My daughter in law got her call from my son tonight. Only 3 minutes but it was enough for her to hear his voice. His Division had a 10 day dead period? I cant remember what that is but doesnt sound good. I hope this still keeps them on track for PIR 01/18. Also mentioned Christmas Eve call. Crossing fingers for her. Not enough time to call her and mom so I will experience it with all of you and her:)

Does everyone have their flights/hotels/cars reserved?? Im staying at Courtyard Marriott waukegan, right near where Sarge's meet and greet is on Thursday night.

I have the Navy Lodge booked for Thursday and Friday but may not stay Friday night. Driving in from MI so no clue if I will make any meet and greet. Want to, but confused since there are three? and does the sailor go? just the folks? dont now yet

No it's just for the families and friends. No SR's.

I missed my call...so upset last night,,, i feel like i let him down...He left a message but sounded stressed a bit.

I just walked out of the house 5 min before he called 6:40 EST. I have not been going anywhere waiting for that call. Missed it. I will not be going anywhere Christmas eve or xmas day.He said he gets up to one hour to talk. Cant wait. I made reservations for the Navy Lodge, signed up for Sarge's Meet and Greet to on Thursday too.  One Month left...

I'm sorry you missed your call. It's tough when you just dont know when that time will be. Maybe the message will be something you can at least listen to when you want to hear his voice? Not happy he sounded stressed I know how that pulls on our hearts. Hang in there, you will get your call and when you do make sure you let us know:)
