900 Division does have flags and a drill/rifle team...if your son's have any drill experience they may have volunteered or been picked based on their military bearing ;)

honorflightRN, Since your son will have the HM rating, you will want to join HM (Hospital Corpsman) A School in San Antonio (clickable link) sometime between now and the end of BC.

You may also want to check out the Page I mentioned below to be more informed.

I haven't received the letter yet, did it say if we can have 4 PIR guest ?  The PIR group on 2/1/12 can only have three and I'm really anxious to know. Hopefully I'll hear today or tomorrow.

I have added a Page, 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms that will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 913 is Ship Staff/Honor Guard. Also join the group, PIR 02/08/2013; there will later be a discussion for that division within that group.

I do!!!!!

Hello ladies-  My son is also in Ship 2 Div 913.  He is going to San Antonio for A school for HM.  Can't wait to hear from him!

Be sure to check out the Page mentioned above and join the group, 900's division sailors.  Also, sometime between now and the end of BC, you will want to join HM (Hospital Corpsman) A School in San Antonio (clickable link).

My son's recruiter just sent me an email that my son is in Ship 02 Division 913 M.....but the address he gave me doesn't match the one on this web site.  I am so wanting to write my son a letter but not sure if this is the correct information.  It is hard to be patient and wait for the FORM letter.  He arrived at GL on 12/11/12..........I guess cause it's Christmas I am even more anxious.  He was contracted for the nuclear program in SC....anyone else?

You will be getting the form letter soon.  Yes, recruiters sometimes give the wrong address even when they have the correct Ship and Division numbers. (There is more on that in Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.) The address within the Page, 900 Divisions, is correct.  (See http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp.)

Division 913 has been confirmed to have PIR on 02/08/2013 (See http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp.), so join the group, 02/08/2013.

Sometime between now and the end of BC, join Nuke School Charleston. Other groups to try are, NUKE moms and Loved Ones in the Nuke Program!.

So happy I received my form letter yesterday!!! He snuck an I love and miss you on the inside of the envelope and wrote it inside the brochure they send with the letter so look carefully ladies as I almost missed it, he also wrote a sad face next to the line about only 3 guests this means his little brother can't attend, but he will see him after!! Hurry 2-8-13 :-)

Got the form letter today!!  We will be looking at flights and hotels now.  Have any of you decided on plans yet?

I got my letter finally! My son is in this div - yay :)
