Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 914 and 915.

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Has anyone heard from DIV 915 yet??? Still waiting on a letter or that week 3 phone call...Anyone have bets on when that call is coming in? I'm thinking Thursday. Or Friday!

Has anyone in 914 received a phone call?

Jen- my husband is in 914 and I've heard nothing :( praying sometime soon!

Just got off the phone with my SR!!!! He's doing really god. He said he wants to come home but WON'T. I'm so proud of him. He just misses everyone so much. I tried to teach him to not be a quitter and he's NOT! He said his barrack mates are cool and he got his wisdom teeth pulled. He volunteeredfor the 900 division and is carrying the nys flag :D PROUD MOMMA HERE!!!

YYYAAAYYYY!! Got a call today!! Did anyone else get a call today? My SR was doing so great! He sounded awesome, confident, and not sick anymore! He said I should be receiving his letters any day now. He writes me every night for 15-30 minutes. He said he told me some funny stories from bootcamp in his second letter, so I'll share those! He said he's made a few friends. And he got a 4.0 on his first exam! It sounds like the division is pulling together and looking great in their WMU's (I think that's what he called them) and their dress blues and whites! They will be performing at every PIR from here on out, so keep an eye out for pictures on the RTC facebook page...They post pictures of every PIR usually the Monday following. My SR also said he's running out of room to keep letters! I'm so glad others are writing him. I really think it keeps his morale high!

P.S. Hey group leaders, why do these postings not appear in chronological order? Some pop up first that have been posted on a Saturday while others that have been posted after Saturday aren't displayed until half-way down the page.

SHIP 02 DIV 914---I too received a phone call yesterday and it was great to hear my SR voice she sounded great and as confident as ever. She was explaining to me how cold it was and that she missed everyone ....last day of the month then it's Feb our short month and closer to see our SR's .....Hoooooyahhh!!

Our SR called Wednesday.  He said all is well and he is sorry for not writing but he has been very busy. Ha, no wonder I wasn't getting any letters. We talked for about 10 or so minutes. Even though I knew all was well, I was very happy to hear it from him!

Any one here for a male in 915 who is an SECF?  My son is friends with a fellow SR.  My SR is an SECF also, I was wanting to reach out since it seems they are on the same path.

Any one from San Diego area? My son mentions a guy he has become friends with. I wanted to reach out to his people.

He also said there are so many going to Pensecola that he may have to stay in Great Lakes for a longer time.

My son is in 915.  I would love to meet some other families in the same division.  My son has specifically spoken of his bunkmate during PDays from California, Last name started with a A.  His bunkmate currently is from TN and last name starts with a K.  He also left out of Southaven, MS. and went though the Memphis Meps - any other parents from Memphis?  I am just looking for some connections out there!  Can't wait till March 1!!

I will be unable to make PIR....Can pics be purchased online?
