My daughter left for boot camp Monday January 14. Yesterday we received the box and today we got the letter. I was surprised they arrived so quickly, fully expecting to not get the letter for another week or more! Her PIR date is 3-8-13. She is ship 03 Div 110. Anybody else here have loved ones in this division?

I see you have joined PIR 03/08/13. Know that Divisions 109 and 110 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.  There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.

You may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.

Hi there!!  My son left on 1/14 also.  I received the box but I haven't yet gotten the letter.  The information his recruiter gave us was Ship 12 Div 112, but from what I understand I won't know for sure until I get the letter.  I'm so excited that it looks like  PIR will be 3/8 - we were thinking maybe 3/15.  3/8 is better because my birthday is 3/9 and I can't think of a better birthday gift than to see my baby in uniform graduating from bootcamp!!!

NOW, WHERE IS THAT MAILMAN!!

YES!!  It came in the mail today - we're on for March 8th!!  YAY!!

My daughter left Wed 1/16 and I received my Kid in a Box Mon 1/20...but no letter as of today. It is hard waiting and not knowing. This site has been a great help.

My daughter is in Ship 04, Div 105...close but not quite. She injured her ankle and was delayed 4 weeks ugh. Same PIR date.

doe the box come fed ex?
