Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 123 and 124

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

was it the 23 maybe? MY SR is Josh and his b-day is the 2/23 I plan on having a cake and presents when we go for PIR!

well whoever's SR it is you do have a special one !

Thanks kidnelson.  Is it protocol for the SR's to get their wisdom teeth pulled?  Looks like several have told their families they have had them pulled.  Just wondering......my son's were not ready to come out, we had them checked.  So glad the division seems like they are really working as a team.  Your SR is very thoughtful thinking of another SR's birthday!  Nice!

Tammy, is your nick the 26th

Nope, he is a June baby!

To Somoza's mom - thanks for the division info.  Nice to hear they are doing well together.  Will have to ask mine about the tests, uniforms, wisdom teeth, etc. So much to ask.....sure he is fine and will call again when he can!

@Robin - He might of said the 23rd :/ I cannot always hear him very well, he said the phones are not great! He might have his name in the letter that I should get this week. Is you son with Ship 03 Div 124?

@Nicks mom - I think it is protocol to have their wisdom teeth pulled if needed. I think I read in somewhere on this website also. Maybe under preparing for bootcamp. He also needed his removed, so glad it is over with. He said it was not to bad and is feeling good.

@kddnelson - UCK, wisdom teeth pulled.  Can't imagine the pain if they weren't showing or ready to come out.  Hopefully they give them pain killers and lots of ice cream like moms would!  Will have to ask Nick next time he calls!

@kddnelson, yeas he is in 123/124 division. sorry about the name mix up. all these post get me confused on who's who.

from the very get go my son's recruiter told him that as soon as he got to boot camp if he had wisdom teeth they would be taken out right away. They dont want any problems later with the teeth.

I talked to my SR's gf and asked if he told her if he got his wisdom teeth out and she said no but did get a cavity filled.

OH OK, thanks for the info. on the wisdom teeth, I had not heard that before!
