Please let me know if any others divisions colors have been picked.

I'm curious too. What did I miss while I was sleeping?

I'd like to know more about this also.  Please fill me in.  Not sure what my SR's division colors are.

In the past, families have worn scarves to show support of their new Sailors at PIR according to Division.  When my younger sons graduated last year, our Division family chose to where scarves and ribbons.  Now I will be doing it again for my older son for his PIR.

You can make your own or purchase them.  I am getting mine from Lora McIntosh @ www.uniquememorymakers.com.

There is more scarf discussion on the RTC site - https://www.facebook.com/groups/121850764654625/permalink/128648663...

If it is something you would like to do, your Division discusses and decides on the colors you want.  You can do it on your own too.  Some have worn the same color shirts instead.

I hope this helps.

I went to the Facebook link you posted but it says that it is closed. How do I get to read the discussions?

See if this link works.  PIR 03-15-13 TG#18 9 Divisions (113-120 and 918)  You will have to be accepted by one of the admin of the group.   Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons  I believe is one of the admin's.  She may be able to help you more than I can.

If I had your email, I could invite you that way.

Here is the link ..........  For PIR 3/15/13 click https://www.facebook.com/groups/121850764654625/

I appreciate the information Lisa S.  I will need to ask my SR what their colors.  Sounds like a great idea!

When I referred to your Division, I meant you and the Division moms, dads, fiance', etc. here online supporting your SR's Division.  Sorry for the confusion.

I'm going to guess it was just a couple of people deciding on division 118's colors because as far as I know it wasn't openly discussed on here.

That being said I like the blue/silver combo but I'm just curious as who these moms, dads, fiance's etc may be lol.

I would venture to say it is a small number.  It is the people online for that particular division.

A little while ago I posted the question about the scarves to my SR's Division family on the RTC site, that is where I normally hang out, and we started talking about it.  I am sorry it didn't get posted to N4M until now.

Last year at my twins' PIR there were many people in our division who didn't know anything about the scarves or ribbons.  They asked us where we got our scarves and ribbons.  I can only assume it was because they weren't online or didn't know about the RTC and N4M sites.

okay. I don't hang out on FB or the RTC site, so that is probably why I didn't know about it until it was posted here. But ...n4m is also being 'online' so that probably led to a bit of my confusion too.
