Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hola mi nombre es lourdes...tengo a mi hijo en el BC ship 03 Div.190..por este medio veo que hay una graducion para el dia 29 de junio..mi hijo le a comunicado a su tia que el se gradua el dia 22 y estoy un poco confundida...tambien me informan que hay que esperar unas invitaciones que llegan por correo y no  han llegado...por favor si hay alguien que me pueda ayudar estas aclaraciones se lo voy agradeces pues estoy viviendo en España y lo mas que deseo es darle la sorpresa de ir a ver a mi hijo y tengo que haces las gestiones...por favor soy nueva en esto y me siento triste que mi hijo en su graduacion no tenga a nadie alli...alguien que me informe...a donde llamar...pues le he escrito al rescuiter y no he recibido contesta suya....agradeciendo su colaboracion

Hola soy de Chicago y no se explicar mis sentimientos mi hija va el lunes al centro de reclutamiento estoy contenta por ella pero por dentro me invade una gran tristeza que trato de fingir delante de ella y le doy animos para que logre sus propositos pero no se que es lo que me pasa se que este es un gran paso pero desde que me dijo que queria ir lloro no se como aceptar esto se que es el mejor paso que pudo dar.

hola  nancy .yo ae perfectamente como usted se siente.yo estoy pasando por lo mismo.solo que mi hijo se fue el 8 de enero y ya son 6 semanas por lo tanto.ya me siento mucho mas mejor.pero lo extrano mucho,

Hola a todas las mamas, mi nombre es Veronica, vivo en Brandon,Fl. Soy nuevecita en todo esto, mi hijo recien se fue ayer 15 enero al BC en Great Lakes,Ill. Lo extrano mucho y estoy muy preocupada y ansiosa por saber de el y que este bien por alla, tengo entendido que estas 3 primeras semanas son muy duras. Estoy esperando que me llegue pronto la carta para saber donde escribirle. Saludos a todas

hola vero.si me imagino como usted se siente.es muy dificil.separarnos de ellos .pero usted encomiendele a dios a su hijo el va a estar bien/y el le va hablar como alas 3 semanas o antes. pero escribale mucho mucho..porque yo se ellos se sienten bien felices y tienen mucho soporte,
