Congratulations on the grandbaby! I have read about Molly's Adopt a Sailor but haven't done anything about it. I'm game if you decide to organize something.
I think we'll be in Donna sometime in January, so I'll plan something for February. We can do something small, but I'll contact the recruiters in Alamo to see if we can find some other moms. There's a retired Navy chief in my park that will help, too. And I'll post something in Texas moms and Molly's, too. My husband, most likely will fly home to Illinios in February, so it will be the perfect time. Not that I have trouble finding things to do!
Sounds good! I'm a CPA doing tax work so things start getting busy in February. If we can do something on a Saturday, I will make it work. By the way, my name is Kellye.
Hi, Kellye! We're finally heading that way next weekend, so I'll be a part-time Texan around the 15th. As much as I hate leaving my new grandson, I can't wait! I've worked a bit for Go With Jo Tours, so I'll be in Harlingen sometime. Maybe we can find each other for lunch or coffee in the next few weeks.
I just realized that my son would have been an instructor for your son at BC! He left March 1, 2012, to go back to Norfolk/Little Creek, but before that he probably would have seen yours everyday in the gym. Where is your son now?
My son is in San Antonio at Fort Sam Houston

Hello Ruth and all! This is a very busy time at work for me but I would love to meet -- maybe for a meal in Harlingen?
If I know ahead of time, I can make arrangements to be there. Kellye
