Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Unbelievable that we are on the home stretch!

It has been wonderful having you give some inside info and congrats to you and your soon to be no longer a SR!

I keep looking for the "like" button on this page! haha  It looks like it's our on personal message page...not much input from our other fellow 107/108 mamas....

spomss- you are going to the Meet and Greet, correct?

Sorry - I guess I've been more of a "lurker" here lately.  Still riding the high of getting a letter. And the knowledge that soon we will be getting that all important call!

Hi Abby!  I am just trying to keep myself focused on the good stuff...I have a habit of getting a little anxious about all the "what if" senarios and make myself a little crazy!  Like "what if" my SR has lost his little phone book and can't remember my number?!!! (ya know how all the numbers were programmed into his phone and he doesn't know any by heart)...

or "what if" he gets tripped during the final PT and falls and breaks a leg....

or he gets MRSA from the communal showers...

or "what if" he got sick from the last round of shots and accidentally coughs in the RDC's face during inspection...

Yah, you don't wanna know what it'll be like in MY head this week! LOL!

alane7 I'm the same lately as well!  School is kicking my hind parts right now, but I keep tabs on what is going on as all the responses are sent to me via email.  It helps keep me informed, but I can't reply through the email.  I really am excited!!  We fly out a week from Thur.  We get in too late to go to meet and greet, which is very sad to me!!  I really hope to meet all of you and your SAILORS!!  Have any of you heard about our division shirts, what they look like, and how we get one??

Sarges?  I would like to-staying at Ramada so I know I will stop there.  It will depend on what time we roll in-its a 12 hour drive.  My goal is to be at the hotel by 4pm. Without any speeding tickets...

The hubbs said 'whatever' when I asked him

Braelens mom-i think there is a link for the shirt orders on a forum page somewhere-put a post in the main wall for this group.  someone might be able to get you the info

Braelens mom our son is EOD also. He's in Div 107. We'll be at Sarge's meet and greet.

Just a few more hurdles for our SRs!  Thinking final PFA today or tomorrow?

RUN Forrest RUN!

Today we mourn with our friend and sister, our hearts cry for her and her family.  Our prayers are with her son, that he will find the window that will be open for him. Know that you will always be a part of our family, and that we are here for you.

Beautifully said, Alane...
A very sad week for our group for sure.

Very well said alane-and hopeful that our SRs can also deal with the loss and move forward with the tasks ahead of them.  I cannot imagine the impact that has on the division this late in their training.

Keeping all of our SRs in my prayers tonight.
