Welcome to the Division Discussion for division 807.
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there ladies!!!

I AM SO EXCITED & ready to see my hubby graduate! I guess all of our men may know each other! :) so are all of the guys in ship 04 div 807 special ops?
I know- my son was always home :-( i miss him. plus i missed his call on saturday-now i have to wait 2weeks. He did leave me a voicemail thank god. :-)
Welcome 807. I am a veteran mom and hopefully can help make the next weeks a little more bearable. My son graduated BC in 2010 and I remember all your feelings and concerns like it was yesterday. It will get easier, I promise, and before you know it it will be PIR day and you will be hugging your new sailor. Hooyah
thanks sitina. but then they dont come home again until when? do we know? :0)
lavender, depending on where they go after PIR determines when you may see them next. They will accrue 2 1/2 leave per month, including BC. They will have to submit a chit(permission) to get liberty to come home. It takes time to get approved and it doesnt mean they will get it.
I am sssooo excited to see my husband! Time is going by kinda faster than I thought, but yet not fast enough! I hope we get to spend a lot of time with our sailor's :)
will all of the guys in this ship & division be continuing their A school in Great Lakes? I know my hubby is...
Court, no not all the 800 divisions will be staying in GL. SWCC and SEAL candidates will stay. SEAL candidates will stay about 8 weeks longer for PreBuds and SWCC is less. Others will move on depending on their training.
Counting down the days...... it's getting closer. No call or letters yet but hopefully soon. My son will be going to A school in Great Lakes, I can't wait to see him and have sometime with him on Sat & Sun.
@Lavendergrl8 I sent a private mssg to you yesterday. Was checking in to see how you are doing.
hows it going? :-) 29days

30 days, can you believe it? It will be here before you know it, I am so excited!!
What is everyone's sailors "job"? I know they are all something a little different, but all special ops right? so awesome!!
