Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 125 and 126

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

CTMom:This must be unnerving for you.  Know that there is a group of mothers in solidarity with you.  Still praying and really hope he gets to PIR on our date 3/22/13.  I have not heard from my son since Feb 14.  You know what they say no news is good news, (I guess).  Take care.

You have been so great, thank you so much. I got a call today from him. It looks like he will be leaving RCU and joining 126 on Monday. He thinks he may have to pass the swim test first. Do you know if they did the run and swim test yet or not? He is Fit for Duty, but not Fit for Travel...so after PIR he will have to be on a hold before leaving for A school, so that's not good, but we're happy with the rest of the news we got today! :) Thanks again for your prayers and support. I hope to get to meet you in person.

I hope he can PIR with us on 3/22/13. That way you can see him sooner.  Any thing is possible? As moms we have to endure a lot for our children. Glad to hear he is doing much better. :0) I haven't heard from my SR today, can only hope he is doing well too.

Thank you. I appreciate it. We do endure a lot...but as you say, that's our job. :)  Hoping for all the best for your SR as well.

Not that I know of.

I searched in FB all I see are the us navy recruit page and us navy page that is all.

My son called last night! He said they found nothing in the CT scan they did, but he has failed every memory and balance test they have given him since the concussion. He had an appointment today to find out if they are going to medically discharge him, sep him, or keep him and change his PIR date. So hopefully I get a call or a letter to let me know what is going on. He sounded good, but is bored being in RCU.

Thank you to everybody that has given me advice on my situation.

Good luck to all the recruits!!

Sounds like he needs more time to recover from his injury.  Hope you both recover soon.  I heart and prayers are with both of you.

Best wishes to your SR. My son said in one of his letters that he will never complain about being bored again after being in RCU!!

Good Morning Ladies! From sunny Southern CA.  Could in the low 80's today, beach weather. No calls as of yet this morning from SR. Hoping for one :0)

I was home all morning waiting for a call too, and nothing!  My son said he hoped they did well last week so they would earn some more phone calls - maybe we will get them another time soon - I hope so!!

I did not get a phone call either.  My nephew (currently in A school) said that normally the next call would be on week 7 of the training.  The famous call indicating "I Made It".  So I guess that for now, no news is good news.
