Hello everyone!
I have been feeling rather sad these past few days. Boot camp was hard but I am glad that it's over. I think bootcamp made our relationship stronger. Right after graduation, he was sweet and very attentive. My boyfriend is now in A school and on the first week that he was there, he was sweet and was calling me everyday. However, once school started, he rarely called or texted. I tried telling him that I would really appreaciate a 2 minute call or even just one or two texts a day, and he tried to fulfill my request for two days and now we are not talking again. When I call, he wont even pick up. We would just text back and forth. This had been going on for like a week now. When I asked why he couldn't even spare a minute or two on the phone, he says he is really busy. I understand he is busy (I am busy too, but I could always find time to talk). But is it really hard to call your girlfriend for just one minute to make sure she is okay?
Anyways, thank you for reading. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Otherwise, I just really need to get this off my chest.
Happy Saturday!

Congratulations Dina! You must be really proud of him. =) I wish he would be more sensitive to my needs... although we actually talked last night, told him i need him to call for me, even just for 1 min or two each day. He said he will try so we will see... thanks for the advice!
Oh wow... i understand now. Thanks Crystal... i guess patience is needed on my part as well. =( It's just too difficult right now. But I also dont want him to get kicked out from school...
my fiance is also in A school in lackland afb down in tx. he is always trying to give me the "sorry babe I am just so busy" line and i never buy it. I understand there are days when there is only time for i love you sleep tight talk to you tomorrow but that shouldn't be all the time. I hope you guys can figure it out and that this little knot is just a stepping to a stronger relationship for you guys.
I really hope so too. I wish there was at least an "i love you and sleep tight" talk or message everyday... i mean we dont really need to talk because I am also busy with work and school. But the thing is... he doesnt even say i love u. I think I shouldnt expect that from him coz he was never that romantic... and he is far away. Ugh, the beauty of having long distance relationships =/
thanks that makes me feel lots better about everything!!!!!
Thank u so much... this really makes me feel a whole lot better! Sometimes I think being the guy in the relationship is a lot easier!! haha
They have new found freedom and are trying new and different things. They go to school either the night or day shift...and have duty ever 4 days. They can not have their phone on them during the school hours or during duty days. So that could be part of it.
Yes Angie. He did mention those things. I guess the part that I do not understand is that why I could always find time to talk or text (and I am also busy with work, school, gym, social life) when he couldn't even find a minute or 2 from his busy day.... I wish I would be able to underand that. But I guess men are worse multitaskers?
Thank you. I appreciate your reply. I actually talked to him last night (to finally get some peace of mind). He said that the only reason he cannot call or text is because he is extremely busy. I do trust him a lot too so cheating is never an issue. The only problem with Aschool vs. deployment is that you know that they have a way to communicate in A school. If he was deployed (just like in BC), I would be fine with no communication (as I know there are no means to call or text). He also knows im a "talker" and usually talk about my feelings...and he said that he would much rather let me talk to my girlfriends about feelings and problems that he cannot fix. Unfortunately, most of my friends give me really bad advice. Maybe because of the fact that they have never been with any military personnel... (they do not really understand BC, deployments, or A school) or if they did, they had so many bad experiences. Instead of getting feedback from them (coz sometimes they feed wrong info/accusations), I would much rather post it here. I know you guys are more knowledgeable... and would give me better advice or insights. Sorry for the vent. Just really feeling down these past few days (i'm sure its normal). Thanks again! =)
