Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 131 and 132

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

How many will be able to make it to PIR with you?  We have 4 in our group.  My husband, son, and a great family friend.  We are all very excited!

My Sr is also in 131 and I was surprised with a call on Friday.  It worried me when I heard from him,  I was afraid something was wrong.  Everything was fine.  He said that they were up  early for PT and it was rigorous so not sure why he was awarded a call.

Looking forward to meeting everyone as well!  My SR is also in DIV 131.  Planning to go to Sarge's meet and greet as well. Also got a call last Friday was super happy to talk to him!  Has anyone heard about the division getting the flag for scholastics?  I seen  a post on FB group, but did not hear that from my SR.

My SR had said they received a flag for scholastics. and he is in div 131.

Hi rocnrobin my sr is also div 131. Looking forward to meeting everyone in GL too. I am also signed up for Sarge's.

I am getting so excited - I have already set out my suitcase :)  Will be nice to chat with everyone too!  Hope they are all doing good this week.  Have you heard from your SR lately?

MartiB and Rocnrobin where are you both from?  I have not received a phone call now in 2 weeks.  I did receive a letter a few days ago though and it seems that my SR did not get to call on Friday the 1st because he was on duty.  He said that he may not get to call until he is officially a "Sailor".  Would've rather had a phone call, but the letter was wonderful!  He also said that their "hell week" was starting on the 4th.  Hopefully they all made it through the week successfully!

I am from a tiny town in central TX (Moody, TX). My daughter is telling me the same things you are hearing. I have not had a phone call in a while but did get a letter on Thursday and that is when she told me when battle stations was. They have done well on inspections before and it sounds like most of the division works well together. I think they will do just fine. I will be at Sarge's on the 28th, will you be there? Where are you from?

I'm also from a small town in Texas(Lexington) My son has been telling me the same in his letters. The letters are nice, but I sure miss hearing his voice. It sounds like the Div are doing well. Hope you get to hear from her soon. My sons letters are short, but he has alot of sisters, he has to write to. Take Care

Are you going to pir? Where will you fly out of?   We will fly out of Austin

Seven of us are going to drive up there. The plane tickets were to high. It's going to be one heck of a long road trip. For give me, but what is pir? I'm still new to all this.

Ok I feel really stupid, about the Pir ? My husband always tells me to think before I talk. Or in this case, write.
