For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 12 (USS Triton) Divisons 167 and 168 (Brother Divisions)
Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisons 167 and 168.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!

I'm pretty sure Miss G has a daughter also. you may want to look up name and confirm and then leave her a message.. I'm glad they broke this down even further it makes figuring out who's training with my son so much easier. I hope they are making friends within division. I try and tell my son been talking with so and so's mom. Do you know her/him. My son's name is Ian he's 19 from Virginia and will be heading down to S.C for nuke school for his A school. Hope all are doing well; waiting for that 1st letter now.

Our son is 12/167, Dad part of the family here, but his mom drops in here as well. Still moving forward with the premise that "no news is good news." We got the box and form letter, just waiting on mail now.

That was my thought 1proudmama, he is probably going to have my luck when it comes to work related issues. Every job I have had since turning 17, has required me to be on call. If it's extra work, I somehow end up with the short end of the stick. Like I have often told my son, on my way out the door, in the wee hours of the morning, or on holidays, or weekends, it builds character and work ethic. Perhaps he is beginning to get a little taste of that as well.

Check mailboxes (like you don't already), I didn't receive one yet, but someone that lives 5 hours from base got one today. She works but her mother let her know letter was in mailbox. Hoping you all get one today or tomorrow. Those that do receive letter please share any scraps of info you feel comfortable sharing with group. Can't wait till tomorrow! Good luck to those that live close by.
