Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Missy, I got my son's box today but not the letter yet. He is heading to SC, too... Best wishes to your son.
I got my box today, now just to get the letter so at least I can write to him. I was so excited to get the box I was at the door before the FedEx man was even out of the truck!!!!

Did any of you find out your sailor's ship # and division yet?
My son is Ship 14 DIV 181, just got my letter today!!! Already ran to the post office to mail letters
How exciting. I kept my son's letter on my nightstand so it was close to me last night. It was all in his handwriting and in a strange way kind of made me feel closer to him.

I got my letter too! PIIR May 10th - Ship 14 DIV 182...running to mail him a letter as well. I haven't been this excited about getting a letter in a long time.
Join the group, PIR 05/10/2013 TG 26, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Know that brother divisions train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either of the divisions of the brother divisions.
Divisions 179 and 180 are brother divisions
Divisions 181 and 182 are brother divisions
There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.
