Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 925.
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Same here. No letters or phone calls except the "I'm here" call and the form letter with the PIR, address info. I can't wait to hear his voice!
Anything from any one from Ship 02 div 925 yet? I checked my mail today... nothing :( Hoping the phone call will come today!
Yes I did! Thanks for asking! It was the most awesome 35 minutes ever! :) He is doing really well. It was a huge relief to hear his voice and know that things are going good for him :) I have heard of several SRs who had to have wisdom teeth pulled. My son had his taken out 2 years ago so he was good for that! I hope your son heals up fast! We have not received a letter from him yet either but he said that Sunday the 24th was the first day they were able to write so we should receive it this week.
No letter and no call. :( I guess we will be the division that will receive only three calls, "I arrived," "I am still alive," and "I am a sailor." Will keep sending my letters/cards to my son until I hear from him. Hopefully he won't think his mother has lost her mind because he knows I don't like to write and I already sent ten letters/cards since he left for GL. :)
I'm still waiting too. It's hard. I keep checking here to see if anyone has received their call or a letter so I will know my own is coming too. I'm wondering what the "Caller ID" number will show up as on my phone when he does call. I've answered a lot of calls from people selling things lately thinking it might be my son. Ha ha.
Still no call or letter from my SR. I pray all is well with him and the rest of the division. I've been carrying the home phone and my cell phone with me constantly. I've waited this long for a call so I surely don't want to miss it! My prayers are with the other Mom's who have SR's that are sick.
Just spoke to my son in the 925 division and he sound good between the tears. :( He is mostly homesick but he said he is hanging in there. Please listen out for your SR in the 925 division to possibly call you too. :)
I just received a call from my SR in DIV 925 so nice to hear from him. I hope you are receiving a call as I write.
Just got our phone call. The whole family was here together to get it. He asked for lots of pictures from home and said that he'll be doing something there, like drinking green tea, and it makes him homesick for us so much that it chokes him up. He sounded happy with the same wonderful smile in his voice we love and miss so much. We laughed when he told us that the only time he got yelled at was when he hung his socks on his rack. Instead of being too thrashed, he was told to write a 500 page essay about why he shouldn't have socks hanging on his rack (Hey, maybe when he visits again, his room will be clean. haha).
I'm praying you all get your calls. He told us that letters from him are on the way and to keep ours coming.
