Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 175 and 176.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I am glad to hear that they got liberty on Sunday. I am so ready to get my first personal letter!

I still haven't gotten a letter.  Has anyone else?

When I spoke to my husband Saturday he told me they had just started receiving mail. And that they wouldn't be able to send anything out until Sunday (yesterday) so hopefully something soon come this week or early next week

Do they need a laptop for A1 school?

I got my first letters today! I'm so happy to hear from my Husband! Whenever we talked on the phone he sounded so good (besides being sick). So emotionally strong. I'm happy to get these letters because it really does show his emotion and how he misses me. (sitting in the bathroom to write me so no one could see him cry). I love it. I'm so glad that he misses me so much. I have written him every day and tried to encourage him in my letters.

Hopefully you other ladies will get letters from your SR's soon!

Hi everyone.  Finally getting to the point that I can join in the conversions.  It's been a hard couple of weeks, been keeping busy, but this week my other son went with his dad for spring break and the house is so quiet, however my son's fiance has been here which feels like I still have a piece of my son. But I have been reading alot of the post. on this site and I think it's a wonderful site.

I got my first a couple of letters from my son today too, he's in 14/175.  I was so excited!  He sounds good but very tired, doesn't sound like he's getting much sleep.  I write to him most days and he said he really enjoys them.

That's awesome. I can't wait to start getting letters from my son. I know that some of the boys are not getting letters and one of my son's friends reads the letters that I send. So I decided to write him as well so he could have his own letter.

Did you get a call on Saturday? If so how is he doing?

My son is in Div 176. Is anyone elses? everyone I have meet they have SR's in 175. :)

My son is in 176.  He was able to make a quick call last Saturday, and I got some letters from him on Tuesday.  He sounded good, but they were going to pull his wisdom teeth on Monday, so I have been concerned about him all week.  I hope that they are all hanging in there!

I know my SR was really home sick, said it was easy but mentally hard. In his letter he had two seperate letters one from after the first 48 hours said he was mentally tired and then the second day that alot of the boys were crying and saying they were going to give up. That broke my heart. But the second letter said they were about ready to have their first inspection. He thought he would do alright. I sure hope so. He needs encouragement.

Did you get a call on Saturday? If so how are they doing? I was only able to talk to my son for a minute. Darn calling cards.
