Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 925.
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Boy what a day yesterday was for loved ones of Ship 02 div 925! They finally were able to place their phone calls! How awesome it was to hear my son's voice, I'm sure you all feel the same :) woo hoo!!
I finally got my phone call yesterday. I was in tears on Sunday because I knew that 925 was making calls but I didn't get one. I found out that he was SIQ with pink eye??! He never even had that when he was a kid! He sounded great, very calm and confident in what he was doing. He's on the drill team and he sounded so excited about that. I am walking on air today! Just hearing his voice was food for my soul. I'm so relieved that he's ok and he seems to have found his place in life. Now I can breathe again....
Yes, my son is going to Charleston. His name is Colin. What's your SR's name? I haven't received a letter yet but got a phone call from him Monday asking for medical records. Not sure what that's about. He called his fiance on Sunday for the 30 minute call - I'm OK with that!
We received our letter from my son on ship 02 div 925 yesterday. However we are only 4 hours from base so those of you that live a little further away will probably receive yours today!!! I will cross my fingers!
Yes he mentioned two friends he has made from CA, Zach and Manny and one from OH by the name of John :)
I absolutely will! Just think, they are almost half way through BT already!!!
Yes he is. Where is DeDe going to A school? Colin's going to Charleston.
We got a stack of letters today. We each grabbed a few and took turns reading them out loud. His girlfriend also got her first stack and was so very happy. I think I squealed loudly when I opened the mailbox and saw them. I live in California.
It looks like they are getting their proper thrashings, Nikki K, according to my son. Appropriately done, of course.
I hope those who haven't received letters yet get theirs soon. I'm sure you will. Letters are coming!!
I'm so very, very happy for you Nikki K!!!!!! Bet you'll be like my family. We were drinking up my son's every word like thirsty men in a desert. Can't wait to hear your news.
Nikki K,
I'm so glad you got your phone call. We got a call on Easter and got to talk to him for about an hour. It was great to hear his stories about the funny things that have gone on there. He says their division is doing great!
I wish your son the best. We're half way there.
Hmmm...I'm not sure where the private message would show up! If you'd like to email me directly that would be fine. pearcesjp@gmail.com
My son's fiance said he called yesterday and they got to talk for an hour. He had just called Friday afternoon, too, and talk to me for about 20 minutes. Not sure why he was able to call again. But now he said he won't be able to call for 3 weeks. That will almost be graduation!
