my son left on March 13th. I just got his address.. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there in this same division.

Recruit Petty Officer Positions will tell you more about what he is doing as Recruit Yeoman.
They may pass each other a times, but they will not have any real contact since they are in different ships as well as being in different divisions. Those in brother divisions get to know each other, but there are a lot of recruits at the RTC at one time and several hundred in each TG, so they won't get to know those outside of their division or brother division unless they are Ship Staff and may interact with others in the Ship who are also Ship Staff.
I got my first phone call on Saturday morning. It was very emotional and hard to hang up when time was done. I can't wait for graduation! I am looking for good deals on airfare and hotel, if anyone has suggestions.
PIR 05/10/2013 TG 26 11 Divisions (177-186 and 926) has several others with loved ones in the brother divisions, Divisions 183 and 184. You only have 2 more Fridays to go. You may want to get your reservations taken care of.
I finally was able to finish my accomadations! Do you think we will get a call soon or perhaps the week of grad?
Probably within the next 8 days or so. Best wishes to all our recruits turning SAILORS !!!!!!!
We just found out that my son, who left last Tuesday is Ship 13, Div 230. THE BOX came today via Fed Ex, but because I didn't learn of this site till after he left, I knew of none of the processes, LOL. It's been a learning experience, for sure.
Join the group, PIR 06/21/2013 TG 32, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Know that Divisions 229 and 230 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.
You may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.
