Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisons 167 and 168.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Is there anyone in this group that has a daughter that is an IS and is from Alabama or Arkansas?? (I don't remember which one my daughter said).  My daughter, who is an IS, said she made friends with another young lady in this division who was also an IS. Just wondering. Please send me a friend request, if you wish.  I would love to connect with a fellow Southerner who has a daughter in same division and IS as well.  We are from Georgia.

My daughter also called today, husband got to talk to her. Her phone card is already running low....

I just mailed her 8 free (donated by NavyDads) 20 minute phone calls to share with those who need them, but now I will buy her an additional prepaid at the store, so she can spare them. She explained that the pay phone charges $2.00 each time she makes a call , I guess that is in adition to the actual time, and they cannot recharge the cards at RTC!

The day to day sheet is a listing of things that are scheduled for your SR by training day. 3-1 is week three, training day one. The next training day would be 3-2 and so on. From what I gather, Saturday is not considered a training day, and Sunday is holiday schedule. We got out day by day list from navydep.com, but I am sure there is one on N4M somewhere. If you do a google search for navy bootcamp day to day, it should bring it up.

TY! this is good info, I'm guessing it is one of those things my SR has to keep in order, being  she is a Yeoman.

Received letter today pretty much wrote what we talked about. He said a lot of nukes in unit, (11 males and a few females) and some very smart ones at that. Said 3 got perfect ASVAB scores; so we should be doing well on academic testing and hurting on physical ones. lol He said he has to work on his pushups but other then that is doing well, and they work on that everyday. said days go slow but weeks seem to go by faster. Met a Williams also a nuke haven't seen that last name on here but maybe I've missed it. I think he was from Texas if you are out there friend me. And a Moyes he is going into construction again if you are out there feel free to friend me. Said met those two during Processing days when they could talk a lot more. Said he likes Sundays the best get to talk to each other, write letters, take long showers (no comment), Iron (yay) and shine shoes. Said they earned extra hour of phone time for shining boots real nice. They also get to go to navy exchange usually but last sunday were cleaning because of scabie outbreak which seems to be over now.Said they will also get their dress uniforms this week. It is getting easier for both him and me. time heals all wounds I guess.
