My son left from there the same day, were u at MEPS? I got my box today too!
I was too..... I remember you, you were the only other family there. Hopefully we will get our form letters before the holiday. I talked to your son after y'all left, we were leaving and I told all of them to be safe and stay strong. Our sons looked to be about the same age, mine will be 19 next month. Keep in touch and hopefully we will get the grad date soon so we can start marking our calendar!

So MAD! I leave for an hour and come back to a sign on the door from fedex. Oh well, guess I'll call and see if I can pick the box up. Cause I won't be home again til Friday.

I had to go pick the box up from fedex. It kind of made me sad til I found a little card that I had hid in her bag when she left. I kept telling her I'd better get a note or a letter and I kept saying it. Well, I guess she got the hint and in the box was the card I had put in her bag but only now it is filled out by her. I  knew it would be sent back with her stuff. It brings me to tears to think about it. I guess because I miss her so much. Her dirty clothes only brought a brief relief but I'm glad I have the little card to keep reading.

My son graduated HS last May he decided navy was what he wanted, I asked him to go to a semester of college which he did but joined in August with a march ship date. He finished his semester of college and still wanted to be in the navy. I was angry at first but then realized this was what he wanted so I had to support him. My husband was in the Army for 10 years so I have some experience but its much different when its your child. Hoping to check the mail and see a form letter!!!

My daughter left on March 20 and it was a hard day. I miss her so much and look forward to graduation when I can see her and give her a great big hug!  We left for vacation (spring break) on March 22 and got home on March 30.  Her letter was in the mail. :) That was the best part of returning home!  Her box tried to be delivered but Fed Ex requires a signature.  I'm anxiously awaiting the delivery today.  Has anyone else received the letter & box?  Graduation is 17May13.

Hi everyone.  I'm Teri, Elli's mom.  She left on 20March13 from Maryland.  Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Teri, how are you? So what ship and div is elli on?  Is she graduating 5/17/13? If so join the group PIR 5/17/13 TG 27, if you haven't already. Lots of info. Also theres a facebook page that has been helpful and I ordered some nice ribbons with my daughters name and division on them. I'm so excited to talk with you. I hope all is well. I got my daughters box, it made me cry. I remember Elli was strong and happy with a big smile! I don't think she would want anyone crying.

Elli is Ship 14 Div 192.  Her graduation is May 17 as well.  Are the girls on the same ship & div?  I'll join the PIR 5/17/13 group.

YES!!!! our girls are in the same division!!! Made me cry, I'm so happy that they have each other!!!

So upset today.  We were on vacation all last week and Fed Ex tried to deliver "the box" 3 times.  I signed the form and left it on my front door yesterday anxiously awaiting the delivery and they NEVER came.  I finally called Fed Ex about 6:30 pm last night only to find out it was already in a container waiting to to be shipped backed! :(  I talked with a Fed Ex supervisor and he is going to contact the return destination and see if they can re-route it back to me.

Good news!  Just got off the phone with Fed Ex.  They will re-route the box but I won't have it until probably Monday.
