Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 189 and 190
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Your son is in the same ship and div as mine. Don't you wish they would post some pictures on here of them so we could at least see their faces? Gawd! I miss my son.

For Ship 12 Div 189 PIR 5/17 only: Letters are out early this week, having found there way "off base." I don't want to say too much about how, but about 30 letters were mailed today. I hope all the Div 189 moms get one.

Good Morning! :)
I'm hoping to get a letter today too! When I talked to my daughter on Saturday she said they were going to get to send out mail on Sunday which meant it went out in Mondays mail! If not today hopefully tomorrow!!! :) Only 44 more days!!! I can't wait to see her beautiful face again!!! :)

I received 2 letters in the mail from my daughter today!! It was very nice to hear from her! I hope she has received some of the letters we have all written her because I know it will make it easier on her! :)
