Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 187 and 188

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

ellen0502 I like your bunny :)

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to post that RTC facebook page posted new pics!

my son is in that ship and div too Cheryl Ann

My husband is div 188 ship 13 :)

Hi Rebecca and CherylAnn!  It's so good to have you both on here! I'm really looking forward to keeping up to date on our SRs together!!!  For some reason, I'm thinking that last Thursday was DOT 1-1 for them.  I wrote my SR and asked him to date his letters to me with the DOT along with calendar date so we'll see.

Anyway!  I'm on lunch here at work so I  thought I'd stop by and say hi!!!  I'll log back on this evening and check in with everyone!

Hello everyone!  Hope this day is finding everyone well!  My son is Ship 13/Div 188 and will be heading off to A School in Pensacola, FL!  Look forward to seeing everyone at PIR!

Good morning, well almost afternoon here, Ship 13!!!  I hope everyone is doing well. I'm really hoping for a call today. Hopefully they didn't get into trouble for anything and get their phone calls taken away!!!

Hi all.  I missed my second call from my son today.  He called last Saturday too and I missed it.  Both times I was at work, and had my phone on....but did not hear the call.  I also had it in my bra on vibrate.  I didn't hear it or feel it. I missed his call by only 4 minutes.  I left work at 5:30 and he called at 5:26.  I was so upset, I cried and cried.  He did leave a message and caledl his sister, so I got an update.  He gets his wisdom teeth out on Wednesday.  He also said he may not get to call again until after battlestations.  Does that sound right?

Anyway, I wrote him another letter and told him how proud I am of him...and how sorry I am to have missed his call.  Hopefully I will get to talk to him soon.

Oh cherylann, I'm so sorry you missed the calls. At least you have his message you can listen to over and over again. Hoping all goes well with his wisdom teeth! Keep your head up and hopefully they'll get one last call next Saturday!

You guys all keep getting a second call. I have not gotten the second call. Maybe my son getting wisdom teeth out now or something. I hate that he didn't call. Surely he would if they could but then ya never know I guess. I am just sad that he hasn't called again when everyone else seems to be getting calls. Anyone staying at the Ramada and going to the meet and greet there for PIR?
