My daughter left on the 10th and she already had an Idea of what to expect since her sister did it last year. I would also love to see the reactions. My youngest has been giving me a play by play on what is happening. Today she said that she may be getting her shots.I just can't wait to hear what she has to say in her 1st letter.
What is your sons rate? and do you know where A school will be?
My son will be an EN and his A school will be in Great Lakes....what about your daughter?
I know you must be so proud :)
My son left on the 9th, too. Multiple times a day I find myself thinking of him and wondering what he's doing at that particular moment. We got his box yesterday, but no address yet. I miss him so much!
Letter with address and PIR info should come by next week. Once that comes you will be anticipating PIR and you will be writing and waiting for the mail in hopes he wrote you a letter. One week down, it's gonna go by fast!
Same here, Navy Mom! Got his dirty laundry and cell phone....that was it! I miss him so much :)
This will give you a good idea what they are doing...
Thank you Craig! I saw this once before but couldn't locate it again.......Such good information :)
Mine left Houston TX on April 3rd, and I never thought I would feel so frightened for him to start a new life, he has always been a mommas boy, and I guess it has added to my anxiety, not being able to kiss his forehead before bed every night and tell him I love him..More for me than for him I guess..I am just a grown woman so very depenant on her child..Loving and missing you so much Seth!
Kyle is my baby too (my 19 yr old BABY!) He would kill me if he heard me saying that! I, like you, am so excited for his new "life"! I wish he could see his future thru my eyes.....I can't wait to hear from him!
