For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Getting the Address for my Husband in Boot Camp
Hi ladies,
My husband left for bootcamp on April 22nd of this year. So about a week ago today. I receved the box of his clothes this morning and I was filled with joy. But sadly i did not get a mailing address to send the letters that My children and I have been writing to him everyday. My question is, How can i get that address? All I got was clothes and shoes. Is there another letter coming? Will I possibly receave it with my DEERS information? And How long will it take to receave that paper work? I really want to start mailing out these letters to him so he knows how much we think of him. Thanks for the help.

I'm so afraid to do that for the sake of the address not being correct. I would hate for all my letters and pics get lost and never make it to him. Ugghhh. As much as it kills me to wait, I guess I will. I have a feeling the next 8 weeks are going to be a waiting game for mail, calls, everything for all of us. :(.

Yeah not knowing if they are going to get the mail is scary. My brother in law is navy and has been in for 6 years now. He said they changed his address a few times while in BC. He said he always ended up getting the mail though. It just took a little longer. I am torn on what I will do. I almost feel like mailing it would be piece of mind for me. Its def. a mental thing making me feel like I am not completely cut off from him by mailing something his way. (:

I can sure relate to how your feeling... I'm sure if you did send it and he ends up with another mailing address he would still get, it just might take that much longer getting it to him. :(. My piles of letters are stacking up, and that's just from me... Mom. Ha. I raid my mailbox like a crazy women everyday. Next we will be waiting on calls. :)

I haven't got mine yet eather... ): but hopefully soon. I have bought him a phone card, pictures of the kids and a million letters to send to him. All we need is the address so we can mail all our love to him.

what they said. I got my graduation packet 9 days in with his address. I sent all my letter then, but I warn you I got a call from my SR 3 weeks in and he still didn't get my letters and it was the first day he was able to write. then I got a letter the week after and he got all mine! it takes a while.. be patient. it was weird I got a call before a letter though.

Did you receive your call over the weekend? My son called on Saturday morning, he sounded like he was doing well, had mentioned they were on hold for a wk but have started their training recently. It was great to hear from him, he also said he was very sore already, ha! I sure hope you got that call, it makes it easier knowing everything is going well for them! :)

I did get my call..I Was so happy to hear his voice. Def. Made me miss him more..But glad to hear he was doing great. He said he was meeting a lot of people from all over. I am glad you got your call too..Make us all much happier..hahahaha...(: My husband has only been allowed salad and he got taped cause he was 3 pounds over weight. ): So hopefully he is eating better now. I was suprised cause he is a tall thin guy..lol...

I got the letter a few days after the box. It had alot of info, including the address to write.
