Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 193 and 194

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello I am new to this website, my son is in ship 3 division 194.  Hope there are other moms in my son's division, would love to know if they have received a phone call or letter yet.

Hey...my son is ship 3 div 194 also! I have not gotten a letter from him but I got the form letter and the box on Monday. I am getting a little discouraged from hearing all the others that received letters! I hope they are all doing ok. This has been extremely hard on me but I am counting down the Fridays! I look forward to chatting with you more and meeting you at PIR! If you hear anything, please let me know and I'll do the same!

Hi TylersMom.  It has been very hard on me too.  Still no call or letter, but am hoping for one this coming week. Just praying they (03/194's) are doing well and will be able to call soon.  My son is going to sub school/bootcamp right after PIR.  Do you know what your son is going to do after BC?  I can hardly wait for May 17th.  Every day I send a letter and hope this helps him stay focused and less homesick.  Didn't expect to be so close to tears all the time, it's reassuring to know other Moms feel the same. Guess we need to be as brave as our kids are. I will let you know if I hear anything!

Hi Submom!  My son will be going to school in Texas for CE (construction electrician).  He will be part of the Fighting Seabees!  I am counting down the Fridays...only 6 more!  I practically meet the mailman outside everyday hoping for a letter and my phone is always with me...even in the bathroom!!  I will let you know if I hear anything also.  Hopefully we can meet at PIR.  What is your son's last name?  I would love to tell Tyler I have met you online and that we've been talking!   Who knows, they may be best buds!

I am also new to this site. My son is ship 03 div 194. Run to meet the mailman every day. No letters yet here.
Me too, I get a letter every week, but we don't want any phone calls till "I'm a SAILOR"!!!!
