Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 233 and 234

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi ladies I just got my first written letters from my husband today. Seeing his sloppy handwritten letter made me feel amazing. Miss him soo very much. He said he has met some great people. And all is well. So ladies in DIV 233 watch that mail box today because you might be getting letters. My fingers are crossed you all do. (:

Amber, happy to hear you got a letter and  that made me laugh. My son's handwriting was beautiful on the form letter but I was wondering if it will be back to  sloppy in a regular letter.

YAY, I'm on my way home from work to raid the mailbox once again. Here's hoping I get a letter today also! I'm so glad to hear that things are going well with our division, puts a smile on my face!

Couldn't sleep very well last night. I kept having a dream that my husband called and I missed it LOL! I really hope we all receive calls again today like we were told! Good luck everybody! I shall be sitting by the phone all day waiting!!

Happy Mother's Day weekend to all the moms and wives here! Thinking of you all missing your child or spouse. I know I'm missing my son like crazy.
So I got a call last night. He had some surgery on his mouth so in some pain. Have any of you been told about how the DIV getting into trouble? My husband has been saying from day one that some of the guys refuse to work as a team and just try to out do everyone by being the best. He is pretty annoyed by it. But I hope they all end up figuring it out and working as a team. being the older guy I am sure he just expected more from everyone I guess. He is really driven by the drill sargents because of his age. He also said that even though he gets drilled, the other guys get screamed at a lot more. But he said he doesn't mind. The hardest thing for him he said was being away from us. But anyways...I Hope everyone got a call. And have a very Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Monday to all.....  I hope everyone has a great start to the week, along with all of our SR's!   A new wk will bring new challenges,  hope it all goes well for our division.  38 days left and counting.. :)

Kim, when you put it that way..."38 days"...it sure doesn't sound so bad :)  Marking the days off my calendar.  Happy Monday to you as well!!

I know Betsy....I agree.   :)

So I feel very blessed today. My SR's recruiter totally bombed our paper work. That's not the good part, but to every neg their is a positive. Because he messed up on it. I received three phone calls to work out the mistakes..so even though things are delayed and paper work was incorrectly filed. I got a great gift. So instead of great frustration for our recruiter. I say thanks to him. If he was more responsible I wouldn't have received any phone calls today... (:

Happy Weds.  mom's and wives!  We are one more day closer to PIR,  Hooyah!    Some days I miss him like crazy, and some days I'm filled with pride and excitement for June 21st,  today is one of those days.  I know I have been told it does get easier as the days go by,  I do have to admit I am starting to feel that way.   I go one the boot camp forum at times and see the mom's or wives that have just said good bye to their SR's,  and think back to just a couple wks ago  that was all of us!  I'm so happy to be where we are at this moment.  We are getting there ladies....and so are our SR's!  Keep writting those letters, and buring those blue candles....  :)
