Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 239 and 240

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Rolands mommy!  We talked about 2 weeks ago....your son's name is my son's fathers name. Not a common name. I'll have to ask him if he knows him!! (same Ship/Div)!!

oh thats right. I havent been on in a while cause i been real busy with my other three kids. But im very happy to have gotten that call on saturday. He sounded happy and serious at the same time. its weird. im trying to get use to being a navymom..Im happy cause hes doing what he loves. i miss him

I know, it's hard isn't it.  Well, at least we can keep ourselves busy and make the time go by faster!!  When you send your son a letter ask him if he knows a Marc in his Division.  I'll send one to my 'baby' and ask him if he knows Roland!

yes i will ask him . Hey um does it look bad if i write 4 letters in a weeks time?. my husband says its too much. but i miss my first born a whole lot

They love letters, the more the better! I write my boyfriend every day. It's good for us to write them, too. At least for me, it helps me feel more connected with him.

Hi! My son is ship 13 div 240 also ... just got a call from him. Said he was on Ship's staff ... does anyone know what that is?

My son is also on Ship 13, DIV 240

My boyfriend is on Ship 13 Division 239.

Hi!

I have been waiting for this group.  Is it private?  My son is on ship 13,  the reports are good, he sounds happy and confident. I love sending him letters, I have seen Navymom1972's comments a bit which heartens me my son is in with good people as she seems like a strong and loving person. So happy to be a part of this group. :)

When my son called on Saturday he sounded very, very happy and upbeat......so I think things are going well!
