My son's PIR is June 28th. Anyone else?

marriedahoosier.....my sr's PIR is also the same date. There is a page for those with that date. Look under the groups section and you will find us. We knew there were other moms out there....so far only 5 of us I believe. See you there!
I just joined N4M this weekend and I'm still trying to navigate this site. My SR is S12/D237 and his PIR date is June 28. We are staying kind of far out in the Marriott/ Arlington Heights. We wanted to be in between the base and Chicago, but I think maybe we are too far away for all the fun. I wonder if we should try to relocate.
Yes. My SR's date is June 28th. Ship 13 Div 239. His name is Havins, Jeremy C.
Join the group, PIR 06/28/2013 TG 33 - 12 Divisions (237-246, 814 and 933), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.
I see from your profile page that your SR will be an HM; sometime between now and the end of BC, you will want to join HM (Hospital Corpsman) A School in San Antonio.
(Group names within this reply are clickable links.)
You are very welcome. Your SR's time in BC is also a learning experience for you. You will be less clueless as time goes on. Check out the Pages and recent discussions in each of the groups you are a member of.
The Rating Information Card for HM can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/hm.pdf. It indicates 19 weeks, but "A" School is 14 weeks after classing up.
What ship/div is your son? There are groups for that as well.
There is a discussion for each of the dfferent divisions (brother divisions) within the group for the PIR date. There is not (or at least should not be) a group for a particular ship/div.
The Discussion for that division and its brother division is Ship 03 (USS Hopper) Divisions 243 and 244 (Brother Divisions) within PIR 06/28/2013 TG 33 - 12 Divisions (237-246, 814 and 933),
